This sound library contains a multitude of coins on different surfaces with a wide variety of performances. The coins come from different countries and some are no longer minted. I also used heavy centenary coins to simulate old world coins for your gaming audio needs.
All content was recorded using high-quality, professional equipment – Neumann KMR81i and Sound Devices. All files were recorded at: 24bit, 96 kHz in an acoustically treated room. Meta Data is also included.
Need playing card sound effects? Welcome to the most thorough and comprehensive playing card library in existence. Not only does this library provide an incredible array of card actions with many diverse variations, but it's also provided with 2 Mic perspectives.
Close Perspective: For that “in your face” sound often used in games or scenes where you want to focus and create an impact.
Mixed perspective: For scenes where the sound needs to sit naturally without drawing too much attention, yet still sound articulate.
The library was recorded with the most commonly used card deck used by casinos, magicians and hobbyists alike.
It was recorded with 2 matched Neumann TLM 103's selected for their outstanding transient response and ultra high SNR, and contains 410 Sounds (205 sounds x 2 perspectives).

This is a large foley library with almost 700 recordings of every day props that can be applied to the types of scenes we design all the time. Sounds included are movements like writing, impacts, handling and sliding; surfaces such as wood, cloth, water, metal and skin; and props like cigarettes, glasses, vacuums, doors, flask, mattresses, car doors and more! All sounds were professionally recorded by a Foley artist on a Foley stage, and the recordings are kept raw. Enjoy!
20 classic card sounds used in games, cherry-picked from Sonic Worlds' larger comprehensive “Playing Cards” library.
The library was recorded with the most commonly-used card deck used by casinos, magicians and hobbyists alike.
The library uses a close Mic perspective for that “in your face” sound used in games or film scenes where you want focus and create an impact.
This library is recorded in a small furniture workshop where office furniture is sawn and created. We recorded the sounds of the factory so that they can be easily combined together to create a workshop of any scale.
Microphones were placed at varying distances from the recording subjects. Many recordings were created using a LOM Geofon contact microphone.
An office isn’t an office without the supples. Pencils, pens, notebooks, staplers, tape, pencil sharpeners, scotch tape, hole puncher, etc were recorded patiently and meticulously. The office equipment was recorded using both mid-side and binaural techniques with high quality microphones and recorders to ensure each track sounds like the real deal.
A massive 496 Audio Files of detailed and balanced recordings of handwriting performances. Scribbles, erasing, check marks, blackouts, colouring, circles and crosshatches for each writing tool are in this complete Foley library.
You get mechanical pen and pencil clicks, cap pop-offs and snap-ons, squeaky pens and thick markers, crayons, ball point pens, felt pens, erasers, highlighters and sharpies.
Capturing the detail of the subtle sound with zero background noise is an art in itself! For these recordings, we found that the best results were achieved using an LCR configuration. A tightly positioned Rode NTG3 shotgun mic for the centre was used, along with a pair of slightly pulled back Sennheiser MKH 8040s to provide a gentle stereo image. The environment we used was our “dead room”, completely silent and reverb-free for this type of recording (this neat little room approaches a mini anechoic chamber) Reliably transparent and highly recommended, a Sound Devices Mix-Pre-6 was used to capture the final recordings.
This Halloween, be prepared to be scared! From Carma Studio, comes the ultimate Halloween package.

This sound library contains a wide variety of creaks, squeaks and squeals. All content was recorded using high-quality, professional equipment, such as Sennheiser MKH-8050, Neumann Kmr81i, Rode NTG3, and Sony PCM-d100.
This unique sound library contains 145 files with over 1300 high-quality sounds from a wide variety of sources, including materials such as glass, rusty ladders, wicker baskets, vintage leather jackets, and large ovens. These sounds can be used for traditional foley, eerie horror, or for any sound design you can imagine. Metadata is provided.
This idea was created with efficiency and budget in mind. On independent films we don't always have the luxury of budgeting out an extensive amount of foley. There are tons of resources for cutting cloth, props, and footsteps, but there are none for actions of the human body in every day situations. In this comprehensive library you will find touches, pats, scratches, slides, clasps, slaps, and so many other common actions involving skin that will help bring realism to your projects.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
