Animal Sound Effects Maldivian Crickets Play Track 13+ sounds included $45

Crickets. A lot of crickets. It was quite a deafening experience recording this.

I’ve captured increments with a handheld ORTF pair of Sennheiser 8040s on a boom pole pointing at the loudest sound source and then switched to 2 DPA 4060s that recorded throughout the night. This offered a bit of variation in the intensity of sound and quantity of crickets performing for you that night. You can hear occasional tropical birds towards the morning.

The library offers around 6 hours of audio and I’ve also cut below 1.7 kHz & 4 kHz to offer a bit more isolation for crickets. This is done on separate takes as an option.

My Trip To LA_Overnight 2_Saturday to Sunday is the fourth in a four part collection.

This pack includes the second night of the 2 part overnight recordings, set on a cabin balcony in the summer at Lake Arrowhead. These recordings are between the hours of 12:30AM to 7:15AM and are broken up into around 15 minute increments, with files ranging anywhere between 7 minutes and 18 minutes.

Hear the changes in exterior ambiences in the summer time from Night to Early morning.

You’ll hear a variety of bird chirps, critter calls, dog barks, crickets, distant voices, car/traffic, acorns falling/ hitting the wood balcony, motor hums, and more!

A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
