This week on A Sound Effect, we have 11 heavy hitters with the creative edge you need.
For combat and horror Foley, take a trip to the medieval combat arena to hear warriors use melee weapons and evasive footwork to avoid covering the sand with their own gore.
On the opposite side of the violence spectrum, we have detailed atmospheres of wind in the trees, peaceful sounds of foliage and vegetation, and calm recordings of wind chimes.
And while we’re outside, check out the new vehicles sounds of a Ford family car and a John Deere combine harvester.
Finally, if you’re looking for something more abstract and creative, give a listen to the immersive drones collection and the major update to FabFilter’s Pro-R2 reverb plug-in. Happy listening!
