Some great new sound effects have been added – including sounds that can subtly sit in your mix, supporting the wild atmospheres of your film or the character body SFX in your game. We have libraries featuring crowds pouring their hearts out during a football game, frogs that chirp from the hidden groves of Québec province, Vietnamese ambiences with its cities, shorelines and islands, and two extensive foley libraries—one with over 3,000 footsteps and the other with over 1,500 clothing and prop sounds. Hear them below:
'Frogs of Québec' is the debut indie SFX library from Songs From The Woods, and features some excellent recordings of these amphibious creatures. This library features 50 minutes of frogs from all over the Québec province with little green hoppers including the Western Chorus Frog, Spring Peeper, Northern Leopard Frog, Pickerel Frog, Gray Treefrog, American Bullfrog and several more. These frogs are recorded during both day and night, in small and large choruses and close up and from a distance, with each file lasting at least two and a half minutes. If you are in need of frog-focused sounds, you can't go wrong with 'Frogs of Québec'!
Need a quick pack of sounds from a football game in the UK? 'The Football Match' by Immersive FX has 14 ambiences from a football match full of applause, cheers, disappointed reactions, booing, and other crowd responses. This library also includes referee whistles and several chants from passionate fans who live for the national pride inherited by this game. If you're looking for the distinct sounds of excitement and love by a sports crowd, check out this library.
'Ambiences from Vietnam' contains the tranquil and diverse sounds of this ribbony coastal country. Robert Kubicki recorded historic areas such as Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Phu Quoc Island and Hanoi to present you over a half hour of ambiences. He captures the quiet streets, beaches, airports, public transportation, nature, heavy traffic, ferries, and islands to represent the diverse areas of this beautiful Southeast Asian country. For a taste of Vietnam, give this library a listen.
