We’ve recently added sounds from all over the world – with fireworks from Paris, village ambiences from Laos, and atmospheres from Asian jungles and forests. We also added libraries that are perfect for interactive use with sounds of character yells, keys and locks, metal demolition, husky camels, and audible embellishments. Happy listening :)
'Human Vocalizations' by Gamemaster Audio has all the grunts, screams and death yells you need for your game. With over 1,000 sounds from four male actors and three female actors, this library will be able to voice your NPC soldiers, warriors, and townspeople. It includes sound of pain and war with triumphant laughter, death groans, coughs, battle cries, tortured moans, and much more. You may even be able to create a few monster sounds with pitch shifting. For a massive library that will save your actors the fatigue, check out 'Human Vocalizations'.
'Jungle and Forest of Asia' by Faunethic is a beautiful collection of jungle and forest sounds from Laos, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and South India. This detailed collection features various birds, such as toucans, gibbons, hornbills, pelicans and storks, as well as sounds of storms, insects, frogs, wind, geckos and more. The library contains over two and a half hours of ambiences, and most recordings are over two minutes, making them ideal for lush interactive soundscapes. If you are fleshing out a sonic jungle, you must listen to 'Jungle and Forest of Asia'.
'Fireworks from Paris' by JP Belliard features recordings of a fireworks display on Bastille Day. This library contains 18 minutes of fireworks separated into 64 descriptive files so you can find the right amount of 'boom' for your project. It also has many solo captures with powerful reverb to complement your explosion libraries. For clean, powerful sounds of fireworks without the cheering and 'oohing' of a crowd, here's 'Fireworks from Paris'.
'Keys & Locks' by Alexander Ahura has over 500 sounds of the unmistakeable sound of a lock being unfastened. In this library you will find keys unlocking bolts, indoor locks and outdoor house locks with various takes, such as lightly entering, scratching on the way out, and the slight ringing and jiggling of the keys. The multiple takes also make this a great library for interactive use, so if you have a lock that needs a sound, 'Keys & Locks' is here for you.
'Heavy Metal!' by Soundopolis has over 700 sound effects of massive metal-on-metal sounds with chains, saws, heavy axes, saw, machetes and more. It features chains ratcheting across metal, impacts of axes, mallets and hatchets, the scraping and squeaking of hack saws - all as they destroy a large, metal door. Most of the sounds were simultaneously recorded by two microphones, the Røde NT4 and a matched pair of Schoeps CMC6U MK4gs, to help you find the right timbre and impact. To learn more about these sounds of destruction, check out the demo for 'Heavy Metal!'.
'Laos' by Faunethic has the peaceful, happy sounds of the countrysides of Laos. With the musical sounds of cow bells, the peaceful sounds of birds and insects, the happy playing of children, the warmth of people gathered in a market, and the tranquil prayers from a Buddhist temple, this collection captures the essence of the townspeople and their daily lives. Plus, with almost 50 files - most of which are over two minutes - and over an hour and a half of content, this library should allow loopable ambiences for Southeast Asian flavor in your soundscapes. For sounds of village and rural life, here's 'Laos'.
'Camel Vocals' by Faunethic features these ungulates and their distinct, gurgling voices that are too intriguing to be disgusting. This library was recorded in the desert of Jordan and contains 47 sounds of the beasts' growling, gargling and breathing, which are perfect for terrifying monsters, too. Plus, these recordings are up-close and personal - closer than most of us would want to get to this notoriously spitty animal! For the charming guttural sounds of camels, check out 'Camel Vocals' .
'Flourish' by Eiravaein Works is full of the embellishments you don't think about until you need them. With over 500 sounds and nearly an hour of content, this library has the sweeps, fades, surges, and swells for your documentaries, trailers and themes, or UI sounds for games and apps. Organized into 100 designs with 5 variations each - such as 'approaches', 'back and forth', 'smooth fades', 'quick rises', and more - this library is sure to have the movement you need to fit sound to image or even emotion. For ready-to-go sounds that can be layered to match the powerful feeling you want to achieve, check out 'Flourish'.
