Airwiggles Audio Challenge, or AAC for short, is back for its fourth year and will be taking place next month! Every day in September, a short clip will be shared in the โAudio Challengeโ space on Airwiggles, for sound designers and composers alike to create daily re-designs to!
Itโs the perfect opportunity to develop your skills and practise audio design for a wide variety of genres and mediums โ and after you share your work each day, you can check out what the rest of the audio community has redesigned too.
Organised by Jakub ลehoล and Jonas Bengio, in collaboration with the Airwiggles team, AAC will be taking over the online audio community for the next month. Over the years, there have been over 7,500 redesigns submitted for AAC by Airwiggles users experimenting and improving their sound skills. Maybe this year you can be the person to hit the 10,000th redesign milestone?
The rules of the challenge
The rules of the challenge are as follows: There are no rules! You can use whatever source material you like: from pre-existing sound libraries to your own recordings. The organisers personally recommend setting yourself an alarm for ~45 minutes and diving deep into your session โ but anything counts: itโs about the journey, not the destination!
