How to find the audio community on Bluesky
There's a surge in new audio community members at social media platform Bluesky - so if you've had it with X/Twitter, now seems to be a great time to give Bluesky a try:

Quick tips on how to get up and running:

• First off: We’ve set up an account for A Sound Effect on Bluesky – and you’re more than welcome to follow here!

A common problem on new social media networks is that it takes time to find interesting people to follow (and for you to be found) – but there’s a really clever solution to this on Bluesky: It’s called Starter Packs and they’re effectively manually-curated lists of interesting people to follow within a certain field. They even have a handy ‘Follow All’ option to help you quickly build your network. Here are a few Starter Packs to get you… well, started:

• Interested in game audio and sound design? Aaron Brown has created an excellent Starter Pack of people to follow in game audio:

• Interested in film and television sound / audio post / sound design? Check out my Starter Pack for this here (and drop me a note on Bluesky if you want on the list too):
