I launched A Sound Effect because I noticed that my colleagues in the sound community were releasing some truly incredible sound effect libraries on their own. But finding the sounds you were looking for was a monumental task, since the libraries were scattered across a myriad of individual websites.
With A Sound Effect, you can now search, preview, compare and get exactly the sounds you’re after, all in one place. And by getting sounds from the community, you support individual sound designers and recordists – that’s a pretty cool thing too!

Yes, they’re royalty-free and no attribution is required. You can see the full license agreement here
We’re a team who need to use these sounds – what do we do?
Simply select the number of Sound Designers or Audio Workstations who can access the sounds when you’re in the Cart. A multi-user discount is automatically applied.
