Hello my names Cal, happy and proud to be classed as a Sound Designer and working within the Audio Industry. I came late to the game but deep down this has always been a passion of mine. Since around 2017 I’ve been Sound Designing and Composing but in 2020 I did some field recording for a film and enjoyed it so much I added field recording to my belt, this led to me creating Sample Packs and Kontakt Instruments under the business name In Motion Audio.   • Environments & Ambiences Chimney Wind Play Track 30 sounds included, 93 mins total $7

    There was a massive storm going on outside and we could hear the wind from the chimney so we popped our field recording kit up and extended the microphones to as far as they would go up the chimney and pressed record. We managed to capture the low end and rumbles of the wind interacting with the chimney.

    We then tried adding some reverb on to the samples to give space and context which wasn’t exactly part of the plan for this sample pack but we thought it added something so decided to add these samples to the sample pack for no extra cost.

  • Electricity Sound Effects Arc Play Track 115 sounds included, 58 mins total $20

    We wanted to redesign some of our Coil Pickup recordings so we fired them into our in house Kontakt instrument and started to redesign them.

    We got in to creating some Arc/Tesla/Plasma type sounds, from one shot Electricity Zaps, Crackles, Statics, Hums and Buzzes to a variety of looped buzzes and tonal elements.

    The Death Whistle Sample Pack was created using a Reproduction Aztec Death Whistle

    Firstly we recorded as many dry sounds as possible, 19 different variation to be exact from Short, Long and Crackled sounds, we reversed these 19 sounds and also created 5 Risers

    We then spent time re-designing these dry sounds to create more weird and wonderful audio

    We’ve been meaning to record this broken hair dryer for ages, it has a slight different noise to a normal hair dryer due to this, however when recording the hair dryer it broke but not before we caught its last blow dry.

    Lawn Mower Ambience was recorded in an opportunist moment whilst recording another sample pack

    We centred the Zoom H4N facing an average UK back garden on a spring ish day and recorded someone naturally mowing their lawn with an electric mower.

    This sample pack has different perspectives from close to distant mowing, with different panning elements which were recorded naturally from up to down to left to right and a lawn Mower stopping.

    This sample pack will be great for a lawn mower in the background of your project or wanting a natural sound palette of someone mowing a lawn.     We came across some Local Construction/Repair work being done, to which we were able to capture the general sound of construction work being done

    You can hear heavy machinery, engines powering up and powering down whilst remaining constant and Idle, as well as various bang and knocks from completing the construction. We also managed to record the sound of a truck reversing, Workers shouting and a Saw and Drill being used.

    We recorded these samples using Ed Devane’s Magnetic Piezo, the Korg CM 300 and the LOM Geofon. We recorded a variety of metal objects being hit with a variety of different items and then edited these sounds to create clock based tick/tocks

    This Sample pack was recorded in a variety of Small to Large Northern Shops in the UK

    Capturing the natural ambience of several shop tones as well as the Northern Shoppers going about their daily shop. When recording we wanted to be as disccrete as possible to get the northern shopper as natural as possible.
    We also managed to capture Fridge Tones, Till Bleeps, Self Checkout Announcements, Trolley Noises and General shopper movements
