An all too familiar saying in the games industry: “Audio doesn’t sell games”.

I call BS! I believe that excellent audio is absolutely essential. Excellent audio is what brings you deeper into the experience, triggers your fight or flight reflex, can make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. Listening to a half-hearted attempt at something resembling sound design is heart-breaking to me. That’s why I make every effort to create sounds that are equally beautiful, useful, and inspiring. because I know that outstanding audio can turn a great production into an outstanding one. I would feel extremely proud to know that my sounds helped to turn your great productions into outstanding ones.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!

A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
