Skid and Drift is a large collection of natural and designed skid, slide and screech sound effects, recorded over four years for professional sound design.
The library features car skids, drifting tires, tire screeches, vehicle slides and race car skids, as well as go-karts, motocross bikes, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades and ice skates.
The recordings cover a wide variety of surfaces and materials, including dry and wet concrete, dirt, gravel, asphalt and ice, giving you a broad range of realistic sliding and friction sounds for film, animation, television, advertising and game audio.
The collection also includes human footsteps and body skids, along with unusual and creative sliding sounds that can be used for Foley, creature design, action sequences and cinematic sound design.
Many recordings were captured in stereo and mono using a selection of professional microphones, including Schoeps CCM4, Neumann U87, DPA 4061 and Lom MikroUsi. The library includes recordings at 24-bit / 48 kHz, 96 kHz and 192 kHz, with UCS metadata.
