What the press says:
Once again, PSP have raised their game, and PSP Neon and PSP Neon HR are both excellent-sounding EQ plug-ins that offer sweetness and transparency. Linear phase plug-ins are deliberately smooth and neutral in character, which makes them perfect for mastering, but they still all sound slightly different. For me, PSP’s Neon HR has an ‘analogue’ quality that makes it shine.
Martin Walker, Sound on Sound
Overall PSP Neon HR is quite transparent, which is exactly how it should be in a mastering context. After comparing it to another popular linear-phase EQ plug-in, I don’t think I’m ever going back to that other title. Neon HR is much less constricted and just cleaner sounding. I hate when reviewers say this, but in this case, it’s very applicable; you would have to spend many times more to find a plug-in that is as good or better than PSP Neon HR. Now if my DAW and CPU would just get faster!
