Product Description
There are hundreds of gun libraries out there. But this is something differentโฆ
These are gunshots fired in natural environments and highly reflective surroundings, aimed at capturing detailed impulses from real guns and bullets traveling through forests, mountains, and valleys.
Includes rawย and processed gunshots, with close and distant variations, all delivered with a specific purpose, providing one of the most useful gun libraries available.
Watch how it was made down below!
This is the library I always needed. After working on hundreds of shootouts and action sequences over eight years, including Money Heist Part 5, the Chinese war film Hengyang 1944, and The Beast, starring Samuel L. Jackson, I decided to create my own gunshot library.
Through all those projects, I constantly ran into the same limitations in commercial libraries โ elements that were missing, combinations that didnโt quite deliver the personality the scene needed. So I set out to build a collection based on those gaps. In a way, this library became the last missing piece of the puzzle.
Thatโs why I created this collection โ a tool designed to add depth, richness, and character to any gunshot.
WHY GUN REFLECTIONS IS FOR YOU?
The aim of this library is to deliver high-quality, punchy, and realistic gunshots interacting with their environment. Rather than focusing on dry, clean recordings, this collection prioritizes size, perspective, and crispness, capturing the way gunshots truly behave in real spaces.
Each recording emphasizes the interaction between the weapon and its surroundings, producing detailed reflections, distant tails, and natural spatial depth. The result is a versatile palette of gunshots designed to cut through a mix while preserving the scale and character of the environment.
Whether you need close, aggressive shots or wider perspectives with long environmental tails, this library provides powerful and production-ready material to enhance action scenes and cinematic sound design.
WHAT WAS RECORDED
Bolt action rifles, semiautomatic carbines, shotguns and a pistol were fired with different bullet calibers and sizes, aiming to capture clean, realistic tails and reflections in many different environments.
This collection compiles more than three years of work, searching for the best acoustic locations and bringing these firearms into the field under carefully chosen conditions. Recordings were made in remote areas and natural environments, on days with minimal background noise, allowing us to capture clean shots and detailed environmental responses.
Microphones were intentionally placed at moderate distances from the weapons, ranging from 3 to 50 meters. This approach allowed for the best balance between the body of the shot and its environmental tail, as the intention was not to capture ultra-dry shots, but neither overly distant or washed-out recordings.
