This is the 2015 edition of the French military air parade which takes place every year in Paris for the 14th of July.
16 military aircraft squadron pass by mono sounds, recorded with the supercardioid microphone Sennheiser MKH8050.
The different sounds are edited with short crossfades in the audio demo, but all the aircraft and jets pass by are isolated sounds with no cross over between them. During the parade the space between each squadron or single aircraft is about 1km.
The helicopter parade is a single long recording. All the helicopters were passing by in a line without interruptions.
Since the recordings have been waiting several years sleeping in a hard drive, so I’ve decided to edit and share !
