Product Description
The Elko Marine Big Foot Ultimate is a rugged, open-deck fishing vessel engineered for inland lakes, rivers and coastal waters. Built with a durable, high-rigidity hull and powered by an outboard marine motor, its acoustic profile is defined by a low-end mechanical engine throbbing under load, energetic water displacement against the aluminum hull plates and a distinct aquatic exhaust note. This focused sound library documents the operational dynamics of the vessel across various speeds and maneuvers, making it an essential asset for fishing trips, river navigation scenes, documentary post-production or sound design projects requiring authentic outboard marine propulsion.
Whether you need to recreate a smooth displacement-speed cruise along a riverbank, capture high-velocity engine acceleration or track hydro-acoustic pass-bys across open water, the Elko Marine Big Foot Ultimate library offers a clean, high-fidelity sonic toolkit.
Comprehensive Outboard Velocity & Maneuvers: Features a full suite of marine driving states, including steady slow, medium and fast cruising loops, idle neutral states, reverse maneuvering, sudden acceleration sweeps, overtakes and dynamic U-turns.
Hydrodynamic & Engine Dynamics: Documents transient-rich water interactions, including hull-slap impact ramps, long and short engine revs and complete start-up, idle and shut-down sequences.
Pristine High-Resolution Capture: Recorded at 192 kHz / 32-bit float utilizing the professional Sound Devices MixPre-6 II field recorder. Captured with a balanced pairing of the RØDE NTG1 shotgun microphone (for tight, isolated mechanical focus) and Line Audio Omni1 microphones (for wide, natural spatial perspective and uncolored frequency response).
