DISCORDA – Noise Made Strings
DISCORDA is a deep dive into bowed strings used as raw noise makers. Wild, imperfect, and full of life. This large collection of strange and intense sounds comes from the raw, expressive voices of violin, cello, and double bass.
Made for modern composers, sound designers, and experimental artists, DISCORDA shines in creating cinematic tension, dissonance, and strong emotional impact.
Inside, you’ll find a wide range of unusual string sounds: sharp trills, harsh plucks, cracking textures, and fast, fluttering movements paired with bold signature elements like heavy impacts, sharp stingers, wild risers, dark phrases, and distorted, broken melodies. From subtle tension to complete chaos, the library covers both raw and processed sonic expressions.
Recorded in high detail and played with a focus on raw, edgy expression, DISCORDA is not your typical string library.
It’s a collection of performance-based sounds designed to unsettle, grab attention, and build intense emotional tension.
For anyone looking for intense textures, eerie tones, and wild, organic sounds, DISCORDA is a powerful and lasting tool.
