Product Description
Deadwood is an ecosystem of wooden behavior, an exploration of how trees respond to tension, pressure, and decay. Each recording captures the moment when wood resists and releases, revealing its natural voice under stress. Built from a diverse palette of hollow logs, dead trees, and weathered driftwood, this collection forms a complete vocabulary of wooden resonance, from subtle, shifting creaks to deep, structural groans. The material was chosen for its dryness, density, and unpredictability, allowing sounds to interlock and layer into complex, evolving textures. The result is a library that extends beyond typical creaks, a raw and direct form of organic tension, captured in its purest state.
