This small sound pack is mostly dedicated to Notre Dame de Paris Bells, but also to other bells monuments I had in my folders.
A litlle background story about the bells at Notre Dame de Paris :
– Until 2012 : The bells were judged “out of tune” and had been replaced in 2013 by the current one.
– 2019 : A big fire partially destroy the cathedral, the new bells are saved from the flames. They were stored and replaced during the reconstruction of the catedral. They will start to ring again on Dec 7-2024.
In this sound library you will find close recordings of the present bells rings, and also archive sounds of the old “out of tune” rings recorded in distance. The recording had been made years before the fire incident.
In addition, I’ve picked large bells sounds from other monuments such as : St Sulpice Church in Paris, Malta memorial bell and a nice smaller one from a small corsican village.
