The Caiman is an MRAP vehicle with a V-hull design based on the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV), manufactured by BAE Systems. The Caiman has been supplied to several countries including Egypt, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, United Arab Emirates, and the United States.
This Sound Effects Library contains a total of 98 sound effects (88 files). All files were recorded at 96kHz/24-bit and meticulously edited to ensure easy usability on the go. The Caiman was equipped with two stereo microphones and seven mono microphones to capture all details during recordings:
1 microphone in the engine compartment.
1 microphone on the air intake.
1 microphone under the engine (close to the right front wheel).
1 microphone close to the rear left wheel.
1 microphone on the exhaust pipe.
1 mono microphone & 2 stereo microphone in the driving compartment and the passenger compartment.
All files are embedded using the UCS protocol and are Soundminer compatible.
