Product Description
This library was recorded during an artist residency at a defunct sound and vibration laboratory where we had access to a treasure trove of old disused audio measurement equipment and an anechoic chamber to record in.
The build quality and age of the vintage equipment adds a unique sonic character to this collection with distinct switches, dusty buttons and cranky equipment boxes.
21 units were recorded with over 58 different and varied controls.
All sounds have been recorded in high-quality 24bit, 96kHz using Sound Devices recorders and Sennheiser MKH8040 microphones.
Each file is embedded with an image of the specific equipment and tagged with detailed Soundminer and UCS metadata to speed up workflow and increase organization.
