Nick McMahan

Nick McMahan is a professional sound recordist based in Washington State. While capturing the sounds of nature, Nick’s work is complemented by his photography and storytelling. Drawn to nature as a source of solace and connection, Nick believes understanding the natural world is essential for humanity's survival. Communities that closely rely on nature exemplify the deep relationship we must cultivate with our environment. Nick’s sound recordings are featured on Apple TV, Audible Sleep Sound, an award-winning National Park documentary, and many independent collaborations.
