Creating artificial crowd ambience for NHL + stadium atmosphere for soccer players:

The lack of crowd ambience and reactions in broadcast is something that affects both the viewing experience at home, as well as the players on the field. For the NHL 2020 playoffs, artificial crowd noise is being added – and ESPN has an interesting behind the scenes look at how that works here.
