Recorded by Academy Award®-winner Mark Mangini (Blade Runner 2049, Mad Max: Fury Road), LA Ambisonics was captured at various locations throughout Los Angeles including LAX, Venice Beach, Hollywood Boulevard, Union Station, Laurel Canyon and more. To capture these stunning ambiences, Mangini took the opportunity to think critically about what makes Los Angeles sound unique, and how to best achieve the immersion integral to the ambisonics format.
