The first expedition, conducted in the municipality of São Félix do Xingu, Pará, utilized the legendary Nagra IV-STC analog recorder. The second expedition, in the Adolpho Duck Forest Reserve, Manaus, Amazonas, employed a portable setup consisting of the pristine AD261 mixer and the HHB Professional Portadat PDR-1000TC. These recordings offer an unparalleled and transparent representation of the Amazon’s rich biodiversity at a time when the region was largely untouched.

Each continuous track, ranging from 3 to 16 minutes, provides an immersive auditory experience of the rainforest’s natural soundscapes. Carefully remastered at 96kHz/24bit, these recordings preserve the original audio quality.
