Electrical zaps, electricity current sparks and other power, thunder and lightning crackling sounds. Also check out the Hums, Buzz & Glitches category

  • We are surrounded by electromagnetic fields at all time. Every electrical device is a different source of these waves, but we usually don’t see or hear them. With modern capture equipment, we can record these fields in an audible range for the human ear; Opening doors to a world of fascinating and weird sounds.

We went capturing various appliances and electrical gadgets around the house. We collected incredible noises with many glitches, hum, crackles… These are great source of abstract, processing data, futuristic or broken technology. And featuring detailed stereophonic moving images, it makes a great fit to create sophisticated modern sound design.

  • Electricity Sound Effects Data Processing Play Track 160 sounds included, 14 mins total $40

  • Delirium is a sound effects toolkit, lovingly prepared to accompany your unique and personal descent into madness. Bask in the radiance of wobbling washes of muffled screams, or perhaps some swaying, spiralling tones that make you feel dizzy and nauseous!

Designed primarily using Madrona Labs SUMU, Delirium is perfect for creating tension-filled atmospheres, hypnotic trances, dream sequences, hallucinations and generally unusual, other-worldly situations. Wavering drones that are writhing and moving, fragmented vocal splinters of what used to be human voices before they were dragged into the void, static bursts of interference from a long forgotten transmission that should never have been found… that sort of thing.

It does cover some areas that are more grounded in the real world (Comms Static, UI Glitches), but the majority of stuff in here is proudly un-tethered from reality.

The library is broken down into the following categories and sub categories as part of its comprehensive UCS metadata.

    • COMMUNICATIONS: Static, Telemetry – Scrambled, Lofi, Glitch
    • DESIGNED: Distortion, Drone, Eerie, Ethereal, Granular, Rhythmic, Rumble, Synthetic, Tonal, Vocal, Whoosh – Bubbling, Clicks, Demonic, Energy, Evolving, Fizzing, Gloopy, Gritty, Hissing, Metallic, Movement, Muffled, Neutral, Pulsing, Rattling, Riser, Robotic, Scrambled, Spinning, Static, Steady, Submerged, Sweeteners, Swells, Synth, Texture, Throbbing, Tonal, Watery
    • MAGIC: Shimmer, Spell – Fragments, Metallic, Movement, Steady, Swells, Tonal, Vocal
    • SCIFI: Energy – Evolving, Movement, Riser, Steady, Surges, Swells, Texture
    • USER INTERFACE: Data, Glitch, MotionGritty, Malfunction, Movement, Smooth, Watery, Gestures

The sounds of Delirium will allow you to travel to weird, wonderful and sometimes unpleasant places with your sonic creations whilst maintaining subtlety and versatility. They are layers waiting to be interwoven, a bag of choice ingredients, a palette of strange colours. Go forth and paint!!!

  • For a long time I have wanted to make my contribution to the EMF sound effects market, with a set of little more unusual EMF sounds.

Listening to, and recording electrical signals of lift servos, AC adaptors switching on and off, electrical toothbrushes, weird analog devices, tv sets and much more is basically what this library of sounds is made from.

The end result is 103 mono and stereo tracks of appliances turning on and off, running, and maneuvering the Electrousi microphones around in a most often improvised and I dont know what Im doing kind of way.

  • Electromagnetic sensors recording in stereo a range of soundfields from static, shimmering electric fields to pulsing, bass-heavy drones, and extreme ultrasonic incandescents, fully UCS metatagged and filenamed.

  • ‘Shoot ‘em up’ has never been this exciting! From powerful laser and plasma blasts, to specialised sounds such as fire, rain and laser circles, Sci-Fi Weapons: Bullet Hell adds intensity to virtual battles. With our trusty Vaemi’s El-Ma electromagnetic field mic, we’ve captured some wild electronic shenanigans, blending them with our synthetic sounds to cook up weapon effects that’ll make your players go, “Whoa!”

  • Environments & Ambiences Hydroelectric Power Play Track 28+ sounds included, 83 mins total $35

In Hydroelectric Power, witness the power of water in this collection of recordings captured at historic hydropower plants and massive concrete dams in the United States.

In the American West, water scarcity and allocation are hot topic issues. Gain access inside a working powerhouse along the Boise River as one of three generators, producing over 1,000–kilowatts of power, crank up from a cold start in advance of the irrigation season. Get hit in the face with spray from Shoshone Falls, a waterfall taller than Niagara Falls, during a high water event. Stand 100 yards downstream from the massive Bonneville Lock and Dam along the Columbia River in Oregon as 3,487 Kgal/sec rush past, generating 624 megawatts of power. Listen to the thunderous sound of Gorge Dam along the Cuyahoga River. Yes, the river that caught fire. This decommissioned 60-foot tall, 400-foot-wide dam has sat idle for over 50 years.

These recordings, captured in pristine 24-bit/96 kHz quality by field recordist Richard Alan Hannon, will complement your documentary, film and game design needs until, unfortunately, the rivers run dry. Seamless loops have been meticulously crafted from sounds that allow for it. Providing more opportunities to utilize these sounds in your projects.

  • Electro Magnetic 01 is part of the Sound Themes Series by Systematic Sound. This is a special one. I basically recorded sounds, that can’t be heard by humans. Beneath the world of human hearing there are other hidden sonic words. Let’s explore the world of electro-magnetic fields, where radio frequencies are buzzing and swirling through the air. You will hear electrical hums droning, aggressive digital buzzing, erratic RF-hits, clicks, glitches & interferences. The sounds of data transmissions and the sounds of electro-magnetic engines oscillating and fluctuating in a strange way. These sounds have been captured with a device for electromagnetic listening. They are perfectly suited to kick start your creativity and enhance your sonic palette. These abstract sounds build make great production elements for your creative Sound Design work.

The idea behind the SOUND THEMES SERIES is to record and portrait sound related to a certain theme, subject or object of interest. The goals is to create exciting and unique sounds and make them available to other creatives to help them make they’re production extraordinary, emotional and cinematic. I’m always on the hunt for unique, evocative and intriguing sound to add to this Library.

  • Feedback Loops brings you a versatile pack full of different loops. In this pack you will find a plethora of analogue and digital sounds. By routing the output to the input of an analogue synth, our Audio Craftsmen were able to design a huge range of volatile feedback loops that continuously evolve over time. Digital synths were also used to create more complex sounds. They can be used for scenes involving live equipment and electricity. Their unique character allows for more complex sound design.

Our Audio Craftsmen have developed 3 different categories to be used individually, or as a basis for further sonic manipulation.

Sounds have been separated into the following categories:

Analogue: These feedback loops were created using an analogue synth to create more natural sounds.

Digital: These loops sound more harsh in comparison to the analogue sounds, and therefore are more complex

Simple: These loops don’t have any recorded  manipulation so they can be used a low hums.

All sounds were recorded in 24Bit 96kHz, and have been tagged with extensive UCS metadata for ease of use.
