Cymbals From Hell is the seminal collection of bowed metal sound effects, crafted from recordings of both natural and broken cymbals. Bringing you the nastiest, gnarliest, and harshest set of design elements and raw recordings. Their dynamic range provides a palette that evolves and adapts over time.

All of the sounds have been recorded in a controlled studio environment and played by a professional percussionist, with the intention of providing the most dynamic range and disturbing playing style. Our Audio Craftsmen then meticulously designed and edited every included sound from the bizarre to the downright horrifying.

Cymbals From Hell contains a total of 197 files running at a huge 8.9GB. This library gives you everything you need to create compelling Horror and Sci-Fi soundscapes and add accents to your music, ideal for use in a wide range of projects. All sounds have been recorded in 24bit 96khz for further manipulation, and have been carefully edited so that you can easily drop them into your project timeline and get working right away.

Bowed Cymbals: Harsh and dynamic bowed cymbals, perfect for musical or sound effects accenting.

Time Bending Risers: Sharp risers that have a feeling of movement in time.

Pulsating Dread Pads: The perfect Horror backdrops, built from organic elements.

Mind Bender Stingers: Warped cymbal effects that are equally at home in a Sci-Fi or Horror tracklay.

Metallic Oscillation Pads: The direct opposite of a Meditation Bowl, these sounds oscillate and move in an unnerving way.

Head Shaker Drones: Grit your teeth and cover your ears, these sounds warn of impending doom.

Gut Rumbler Subs: How low can we go? Very low. These sounds sit nicely under your tracklay and provide some serious sub frequencies.

Disturbing Risers: Distorted and mangled, these cymbals are bound to accent any jump scare with a dose of disturbing!

The RE-201 Space Echo. Introduced in 1973 is Roland’s most notable outboard FX unit, its sound is both utility and musical. The Space Echo carves its place in music history with its sweeping echoes and infinite oscillations. Its warm and pleasant sound has been heard a million times in a million different ways in both score and album. Hear its soothing oscillations, its creaking pleather case, switches, knobs, and vintage science fiction expressive UI and emotive aural gestures.

We have designed this library to be as useful as possible while offering an insight into every sound the RE-201 Space Echo offers. This means both the internal, and external sound sources from the whirls and vibrations of its motor, to the clicks, snaps, and clunks of its switches and into the world of its echoes, spring reverb, and oscillations of its processed sound.

As Well as processed sounds such as: Signal Generator Sweeps, Impulse Tones, Kick Drum, Snare Drum, Self-Oscillations and many others.

Sci-Fi Sound Effects Sci-Fi Atmospheres Play Track 92 sounds included, 92 mins total $18

This library is a collection of 60 Sci-Fi atmospheres, all loop seamlessly, which can be used to represent alien worlds, drones ambiences, spacecrafts, futuristic engines, nuclear facilities, celestial spaces, generators, dark elements and from outer space. Mainly inspired by the Alien saga.

Each file has a duration of one minute with subtle changes over time. Ideal sounds to use as a layer in your sound design or for those project where music and sound design are pretty close.

Files have been designed on the basis of two different TVs buzzing, making a total of 32 buzz files, which have also been included in the collection. Calibrated to -24 LUFS. You can experiment with them to create more sounds, or use them as what they are, a TV buzz.

All files come in 96 kHz/24 bit, with a very descriptive metadata, based on what the sounds represent and which kind of feeling and mood they suggest to the listener.

A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
