If we met in real life, I would shake your hand and say, “My name is George Hufnagl. It’s great to meet you!” And it would be great, because meeting new people is great, and names are great, and you’d tell me yours, and we’d be off to the races. Or wherever! You would describe your interests and concerns (I would let you go first), and then I’d explain my passion and experience working with game developers, live performers, toymakers, writers, and other creative people. If we hit it off, which I bet we would, we might share ideas, throw most of them away, but then find that one idea that just…you know. We’d nod. You’d say “Whoa.” I’d say, “Yeah.” Then we’d talk business. I love being goofy. I love to laugh. And, I love charming audio. My aim is to infuse those characteristics into my audio projects and create well-recorded, polished sound effects libraries.
“He who squeaks you controls you!” – ancient squeaky proverb
A whole bunch of squeaks in a nice little set of folders. That’s TWO squeaky libraries that do the work for you. Included in this bundle are:
SQUEAKY TOYS: Looking for funny, squeaky sound effects? This library by George Hufnagl delivers them by the bucket: Whether it’s a rubber bone, cloth dog, or a giant flamingo, over 16 Minutes of squawks, honks and wheezes await your squeaky, sound effects needs. Squeezed, shaken, and stomped, all 190 stereo files include metadata at 96kHz, 24bit recording quality.
Aaaaand…
SQUEAKY CREATURES: A fun, raucous library that offers you nearly 600 sound files of chattering, gabbing, squawking nonsense to use for your cute critters in any media landscape. Use them as one-off emotes or sew them together for complex, expressive phrases. However you use it, this misfit squeaker gang will ensure that your fictional specimens will communicate in cute, boisterous tones that will carry across a crowded room full of adorable little monsters.

Louis Armstrong. Wynton Marsalis. Doc Severinson. Miles Davis. What do these legendary trumpet players have in common? None of them would be caught dead recording for this sound effects library.
Trumpet Interface offers you 264 clicking, clustering, chattering and squeaky sound files to be used in your project. Recorded, in private, on a Bach 180S37 Stradivarius Bb Trumpet, George took his time in making sounds that would make any 4th chair trumpet player proud. From mouthpiece buzzes to low-tone squelches, this mangled trumpet stuff will make your user interface blow the face off any unsuspecting user. Over 6 minutes of UI SFX that cost way less than the trumpet used to record them.
*BUZZZZ* Left your phone in your pocket? On the tile floor? Under a pile of your roommate's disgusting laundry? Locate it with these 17 audio files, recorded in various locations using a customized vibration pattern.
Farts are our bodies’ way of punctuating important moments. Everyone knows this and agrees on it. It’s basically accepted scientific fact.
And now, after decades of research and a couple days of intensely private foley work, George brings you 216 separate files of completely original yet hauntingly familiar fart sounds that will add ripe, satisfying definition to your every soundscape.
Employ George’s rich, mouth-made ass-noises to create emphasis, intrigue, a sense of accomplishment, desperation, true love, and more.
With over 20 minutes of quick bursts and ambient loops, we’re fairly confident when we say you really shouldn’t ever need more fart noises than this.
Whether you seek eerie ambiences, mysterious chatter, or a bassy sweetener, Strange Moods has you covered. In this collection, you’ll find over an hour of perfectly-loopable, atmospheric audio. Inspired by such games as Limbo, No Man’s Sky, and Badlands, all 69 files are high-quality 96kHz/24bit WAV files and drag and drop ready.
I made these sounds with my mouth, dried them off, and shined them up for your use! In this package, you’ll find 221 polished sound effects to use for all manner of user interface. Some are clicky, some a poppy, some are breathy, and some are plain ol’ goofy (all very technical language, you see). Regardless of their aesthetic, they are all 96kHz/24bit quality WAV files and drag n’ drop ready.

With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
