Captured on an iced-over lake in Sweden, a total of 5 channels share various isolated performances on the frozen surface: hits, breaks, cracks, groans, grinds, slides, scrapes, and more. Ice debris, metal hits, and rock drops were performed on the solid surface to provide a range of sounds and textures. Atmos format recordings of Swedish urban ambiences
The Ambiences for Atmos Vol 1 – Cities features recordings from 10 different locations covering soundscapes and city scenes from plazas, parks, marinas, waterfronts, and sports centres. Each take is described with both foreground and background activity, incidental ambient events, level of crowd presence and traffic, and much more.
The sound pack consists of 40 sound clips in 10.25 gigabytes and is delivered in a 7.1.4 format. The clips are arranged in stems so you can easily be adpated to any mixing format of choice, from 5.1 all the way up to 7.1.4. There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
