Just Sound Effects is a sound effects production company which produces high-quality royalty-free sound libraries. Our products are designed for the video game, film and audio post-production industries. When developing new sound libraries, we look at how we can improve the daily workflow of content creators using our products: Sound design toolkits with source material for manipulating and creating new sounds, pre-designed sound effects for easy use, everyday sounds and super clean ambient recording collections.

Every sound is carefully reviewed and embedded with rich meta data and classified by the industry standard Universal Category System. All sounds are extremely clean and perfectly compatible with any media editing software and search engines.

    Create authentic urban soundscapes and sceneries with the detailed recordings of our Urban Ambiences sound library. This release offers you professional sound recordings with a total length of 4 hours and 50 minutes featuring background atmospheres, passing cars and trains, sirens and horns, construction sites, church bells, generators, escalators, various crowds, restaurants and city parks with singing birds.

    AN INDUSTRIAL JOURNEY
    During the production process, we traveled through various cities in Germany, mainly in the Ruhr area in North Rhine-Westphalia. We chose this location because it has a unique history and a high population density. With more than 5 million people living in this area, combined with old industrial buildings and always close to nature, we had the opportunity to capture a wide variety of incredible urban textures.

    Included are 143 unique sound effects, all carefully metadata tagged. The ambience recordings are seamlessly loopable to give you the highest possible comfort.

    Doors can tell more stories than you expect and in order to offer you the greatest possible variety for your creative work, we have recorded every door sound in this library from two perspectives and with different intensities.     FROM SINGLE INSECTS TO SWARMS
    Singing insect sounds are hard to describe; it is a lot easier to listen to the great possible varieties. Our language is poor to define the sounds of crickets or cicadas: buzz, click, rasp, whirr, rattle, trill, chirp. Usually we only use one descriptive verb, mostly onomatopoetic, but these insects produce a great number of different noises.
