This bundle includes both the top selling New York City libraries: Essential New York City, and Essential New York City – Street and Subway.
These two libraries combined give you access to the rich urban intercity, under-city and rural ambiences that keep making New York sound unique. Sirens, skyline drones, and the beating heart of NYC are all covered in this bundle.

Included sounds are: wet and dry close and distant perspective traffics, skyline dins, subway interiors, bys, through walls, etc. Pedestrians on busy sidewalks, quiet side streets, and dozens of other locations and situations.

All tracks have been meticulously recorded and mastered with Sony D10-D50 and similar field recorders and Pro Tools.
All recordings have full metadata created in Soundminer.

  • Ambient Walla is a collection of crowds and walla taken from a number of locations and situations. Everything from crowded restaurants and busy campuses, to more intimate and sparse moments, such as cocktail parties. Most tracks were captured with the Zoom H6, Zoom F6.

I wanted this SFX library to sound more natural, rather than creating something that already exists. These tracks are more subtle and are aimed at smaller and more dispersed situations, but can also be used for larger situations.

As well, a majority of the “campus” crowd and walla sounds were captured from the Google and Apple campuses. There are a number of quality tracks with both close and distant perspectives.

  • Ocean Waves Beach and Water consists of a large dynamic range of a variety of ocean locations, and water sounds. From roaring white water surf, violent crashing waves on sand and rock, to calm lapping, of far and near perspectives.

I’ve included different types of outdoor fountains, large and small, single seagulls and groups of seagulls. A good portion of the Beach Ambiences have good, useable beach type walla. Family get togethers, children playing, and casual volleyball playing. All these tracks have good movement within them so that the listener doesn’t get bored with static sounds. There are plenty of tracks with and without any sort of voices or walla in the background.

There are “Dins” included for those settings where you may need to fill in the background with sound that doesn’t get in the way, and doesn’t draw attention to itself.

These sounds were recorded over the period of 10 years in multiple countries. All have been mastered in Pro Tools, EQ’d, with light limiting and compression to pop out the finer details, otherwise hidden by masking frequencies, but are otherwise in their raw form.

All tracks have full metadata created in Soundminer, and there is an attached Track List for quick reference.

  • This library consists of high quality designed sound effects that are individually designed, as well as tracks that are ‘plug and play’ ready to use with any type of media including, feature film, television, video games, podcasts, trailers and commercials.
It’s a well rounded toolkit with an array of choices to create exciting transitions, risers, stingers, impacts, etc. There are many different varieties of sounds to stack against each other, as well as use singularly.

The melding of varying elements are intended to stimulate and inspire through the psychology of dynamic sound. Everything from thundering low subsonic impacts to glissful angelic overtones. Many different types of Risers, Transitions and Stingers that withstand the demand for modern and unique sounds, of today’s Sound Designers and Editors.

  • This in-depth and enormous library was originally created with video games in mind but became much more detailed over time. Most of the props were used on multiple surfaces, with multiple versions. This avoids sounding repetitious. Props range from Grabs, Drops, Rolls, Slides, Crinkles, Shakes, Handling, and much more.

There are no footsteps in this compilation, however, there are over 3000 versatile sounds.
This well recorded Foley library is very perfect for all media content.
The total amount of files in Essential House Foley is over 3200, offering a large dynamic range in props used.

Recorded in Burbank CA, we used state of the art equipment and computers. The sounds have all been captured and mastered in Pro Tools, and kept natural sounding, by edited and mixing with very light and natural sounding compression and limiting.

  • Italian Cityscapes and Ambiences is comprised of a number of different areas in Italy. Rome, Naples, Tivoli and Positano.
You can almost taste the amazing food while listening to the sounds of the back streets of distant traffic ambiences and church bells, or in the steep hills of Positano. There are scooters, church bells, and sirens that are scattered throughout.

In general, this has some great traffic dins that can be used anywhere. All tracks are mastered in Pro Tools, maximizing your listening experience.
All the plaza, church, street, train, and general ambience give a great overview of Rome and outlying areas.

All tracks have detailed metadata and are recorded in 24/48

  • This library was compiled over the course of 5 years with 3 different recorders (Sony D50, Zoom H6 and Roland R07). The Roland was used in stealthy situations because of its size.

This collection of tracks depict the sound of traffic, both near and far, with the (seemingly) constant hum of the Los Angeles helicopter. There are plenty of those in these recordings, as well as a good variety of locations and situations. I believe this library represents the actual sound of Los Angeles in a general sense.

All tracks have been mastered in Pro Tools, with light compression to even out the bumps, and use EQ here and there to hide the rumble and calm the hiss. All bumps and unwanted noise has been edited out for the best result.

I hope you appreciate this collection, as I’ve used all the tracks myself. In most cases, these sounds have been bolstered and mastered for a fuller, more interesting sound.

All tracks have full metadata implemented for a clear and concise explanation of each track.

  • This is a dense library of accomplished and cacophonous sounds. This is a dramatic and horror filled library, teaming with tension and ghostly ambience, stingers and hits.
Most of these sounds have been used in film and television in one form or another. They’re more than just “designy sounds”.

These are intended to create a score of tension that can help you build a scene to it’s full potential. These sounds add movement within the soundtrack, especially with the drones, stingers, hits and demonic lingerings.

If you’re looking to notch your project up a level with intensity, mood and expressive design, this may be a step in the right direction. Hopefully you’ll have as much inspiration as I did when creating these.

  • Welcome to the Essential Stadium Crowd sound effects library: All the crowds, back room ambience and practice tracks were recorded at the Phoenix Cardinals Stadium, pre/during and post game. I had the opportunity to have a press pass and free reign in the stadium.

Some of the recordings were recorded way up high in the upper bleachers, and some behind the end zones, as well as other interesting places. There are significant differences in the locations and the ‘thickness’ of the crowds. With this library, you should be able to fill out any sort of large sports arena ambience, as I’ve edited out most of the PA Announcer to give more of a general stadium feel that could be anywhere, and any major arena sporting event. The PA that is left in can easily be edited out.

All the sounds were mastered in Pro Tools, with very transparent processing going on. My signal chain consisted of a C4 Compressor, DMG Equality EQ, and a L1 Limiter. All reverb is natural.

  • In this sound pack I’ve included an in-depth selection of active ambiences. This library is focused more on the natural ambience of both busy main streets and calmer side streets.

Most sounds were captured below 110 St. and prominently in the Lower East and West Village. There are a multitude of police and firetruck sirens at varying distances as well as some not so common areas like the Intrepid Pier and the Hudson River Heliport ambience.

I’ve also included some extensive subway rides. All boring bits were edited out for a strong final product. There are multiple train rides with various levels of walla and PA announcements.

One thing that is very common in NYC during the summer months are the rain and thunderstorms. I’ve included a number of wet traffic, distant thunderstorms and heavy rains.

All in all this is a good representation of New York’s streets and subway systems.

  • Get the sounds of New York City, as captured by sound designer and recordist Rusty Dunn. The Essential New York City library includes recordings from locations like Manhattan, Coney Island, Brooklyn and more – and it packs recordings like ambiences from Times Square, Playgrounds, Central Park, the Subway, Sidewalks and streets around NYC and more. More than 2 hours of recordings are included.
