Home Sound Effects
For The Curious And The Extraordinaryâ„¢
We have been crafting custom sound effects for almost 10 years. Now we would like to share them with the world.
Screaming Designed is a sequel to one of our most popular sound effect libraries to date. We manipulated loop group and individual recordings of different male and female screams to create otherworldly, horrifying and mystical sound effects for your perusal. This collection contains everything from monsters, dragons, dinosaurs and toy soldiers all the way to giants and ghostly whispers, providing perfect audio content to spice up your film, tv, audiobook and game productions.
Our Audio Craftsmen recorded performances of our in-house voice artists using mono and stereo microphones to give you maximum flexibility. The source sounds were taken from our incredibly popular ‘Screaming’ and ‘Screaming Vol. 2’ libraries which were captured in our foley & voice recording suite, which has been used to record loop groups for major TV broadcasters.
All of the sounds are meticulously edited, meta tagged and UCS compliant, so you can find the right sounds you need and drag them straight into your projects. In addition, all the files are available in 24 Bit 192 kHz for further sonic manipulation and design (you can pitch and time stretch these to bring further interest and put your own stamp on to the effects).
The time and cost associated with recording loop groups and voice actors is high, so this library allows you to implement designed crowds and solo performances for a fraction of the cost.
Geophonic Design Bundle is a diverse collection of unique and abstract designed sounds with infrasonic frequencies which go as low as 10Hz. The bundle includes three libraries with a total runtime of 217+ mins (7.01 GB) that have strong sci-fi & horror vibes perfect for your films, video games, documentaries and other projects that require a mysterious and ominous soundscape.
Our Audio Craftsmen used a ‘Geophone’ which is a seismic measurement device used to record seismic waves and vibrations of the earth, to record low heavy vibrations and rumbles of various surfaces and materials, hits and interactions of wood, metal, trees, soil, clay and other natural ingredients. We have also captured sounds from window glass, busy roads with vehicle pass bys, metal posts and rails with impacts, water passing through pipes, metal containers, plastic buckets and much, much more.
All of the included sounds were then precisely edited and designed by our dedicated in house team to build ambiences such as: outer space, underground bunkers, submarines, weather stations, underground sewers, a labyrinth of metal pipes, nuclear wastelands, research bases, boulder movement, metal ghost voices, spirits calling, subsonic water texture, tree bark connection, wind interference and many more. In addition, all the files are available in 24Bit 96kHz and with UCS compliant metadata to integrate seamlessly with your workflow.
The sounds will also make a great addition to your library as layered textures, to build a mysterious atmosphere in your projects, and will be perfect as drones and ambiences for futuristic, sci-fi and horror scenes.
You will be saving 25% of the total cost of the individual libraries when purchasing this bundle, an excellent value for money addition to your sci-fi/horror sound effects libraries.

Screaming Vol. 2 is a sequel to one of our most popular sound effect libraries to date. Unlike other libraries out there, we recorded small loop groups of voice actors covering situations where a single voice is not enough and a large crowd is too much for the scene. Furthermore, we captured extended performances in each file, giving sound editors the flexibility to use these effects in a large variety of situations. This collection contains group screams and shouts, covering everything from party and gig crowds all the way to battles and massacres making it a great addition for sound designers to their general audio collection and can be used in films, video games, TV productions and other projects.
Our Audio Craftsmen recorded performances of our in-house voice artists using mono and stereo microphones to give you maximum flexibility. We have captured various screams and shouts of a TV audience, crowds at parties, gigs, sports stadiums, armies fighting battles, teens being massacred, people burnt alive, a crowd being attacked by bees, a group falling to death, people being trampled by an elephant, couples fighting each other and much, much more. We have also included additional variations of long and short group screams and sequential screams.
All of the sounds are meticulously edited, meta tagged and UCS compliant, so you can find the right sounds you need and drag them straight into your projects. In addition, all the files are available in 24 Bit 192 kHz (without reverb) for further sonic manipulation and design (you can pitch and time stretch to create monster voices or high pitched creatures).
We have used a variety of male and female voices, capturing different variations of almost all types of group screams needed for your projects, which saves you from hiring expensive voice actors and loop groups.
Victorian Pump Organ is our new steampunk-inspired Kontakt library made in collaboration with Stuart Keenan from Glitchedtones. With 50 different patches including sound design, drum kits and foley, this instrument is perfect for musicians and sound designers to make everything from sea shanties, period style music from the 1800s and early 20th-century all the way to EDM tracks and horror/atmospheric scores.
Stuart Keenan from Glitchedtones faithfully captured a Victorian Pump Organ (built-in 1865, Canada) at a studio in Newcastle with 4 different microphones positioned for treble, bass and stereo room mic perspectives. Our Audio Craftsmen meticulously edited the samples and programmed 50 patches and integrated them into our Kontakt interface giving film composers, music producers, sound designers and game developers a vast array of options to create music and compositions in various genres.
There are 9 main patches including 3 melodic patches, 4 chord patches and 2 foley patches with the organ adjusted at different stops. We also recorded genuine major, minor and complex chords helping people with less knowledge in music theory to write songs and chord progressions. We also covered foley patches with keys, squeaks and pedal sounds to add an essence of natural character.
Our in house composers built additional designed patches which include; Harp like arpeggiators, ethnic instruments such as the harmonium all the way to electro leads, game boy organs and dubstep inspired basslines. We even manipulated samples and built patches for metal and rock music.Â
We have included patches for a variety of circumstances like abandoned church organs, space generators and creaky room voices. We have also included low subsonic impacts and rumbles to add weight to your sounds and music. Some of the patches like glorious arp, telephone arp, tweeting birds, drunken organ, sea shanty organ, harmonica and cathedral hits are ideal for adding texture and interest.
Our user-friendly Kontakt interface provides a variety of controls that encourage experimentation within the patches. We have included a mic mixing section with ADSR where you can adjust the levels for treble, bass and stereo (multiple mics) if you need to add more width to the mix. The built-in Arpeggiator and Step Sequencer are great for generating hundreds of variations in seconds.
We hope that you will take the opportunity to try out this fascinating and timeless instrument.
Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher is required.
NOTE: This library does not run in the free ‘Kontakt Player.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
