Speed Coverage:
We made sure to cover most speeds this old beauty is capable of. We started slow at 10mph… then took it to 25mph… 35mph… all the way up to 55mph.
Onboard perspectives:
We had mics on the exhaust, engine belt, and the main engine compartment.
We also covered the interior cabin, which had some very unique rattles and rumbles.
Exterior perspectives:
For the exterior perspectives we captured engine start ups, revs, idling, downhill pass-bys, uphill pass-bys, U-turns (follow mic), as well as approaches and stops. We even got some old sputtering car honks and car door foley.
Post Cleanup and Metadata:
We made sure to remove all bird chirps, mic bumps, and all other unwanted noises. We also fleshed out all the metadata to make searching a breeze.
Gear Used:
Sennheiser MKH30/MKH40 MS, MKH50, MKH60, MKH416, Shure SM58, Sanken CUB-01, Line Audio CM3 ORTF, Sound Devices 633, Sound Devices 442, Sound Devices MixPre, Roland R-44, Tascam DR-100mkII, Zoom h4
