Over 40 B-Format recordings of the iconic World War 2 fighter aircraft, in flight, on the ground, singly and in groups.
The library also includes some hard-to-find in-cockpit recordings of two landings and a takeoff of a Mk. IX variant, transcoded from the four-channel recording to B-Format and a 5.1 recording of a parade of 24 Spitfires at the celebration of ‘The Hardest Day’ at London’s Biggin Hill aerodrome.
Also included are two long-form recordings of the Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight’s Avro Lancaster Bomber with Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane escort.

Please note that my Sounds Of Flight library has some of these recordings in stereo reductions, so if you already have that, there will be a degree of duplication if you’re only going to use two channel recordings.
