All recorded sounds have minimal background noise, providing maximum flexibility for building up uniquely realistic acoustic environments.
Sufficient time scale variation
The collection comes with 84 stereo files ranging from 0:53 seconds to 5:15 minutes in length, for a total of 230 minutes.
Post-production and curation applied
Rain City has been recorded using both stealth and control field recording techniques. Recording in real-life conditions, we weren’t always able to capture sounds using the same ideal settings a controlled environment would have allowed us to. In all those cases, post-production and curation work has created an excellent outcome.
Cornelius Wilkening –
A fine collection of rain recordings that are well-sorted and easily loopable. For all scenes in a city I needed rain sounds for, this library had good-sounding recordings with nice details I could use.
