KEY FEATURES

SPECIAL FEATURES
- location photo taken at the time of recording for each audio file. The photos are embedded into the Soundminer Artwork field, ID3 tag and included as .jpg files.
- some files are consecutive parts of long recordings split into 2-4 parts, each part with it’s distinctive character. These parts can be joined together seamlessly. They are marked by the string “PtXofY” in the Filename. The part files are sorted into their groups using the OpenTier field of Soundminer metadata.
METADATA
- UCS (Universal Category System) fully implemented, VendorCategory is used to define landscape characteristics
- Soundminer, including recording location photos in the Artwork field. Latin taxonomy names of identified bird and mammal species are listed in the Keywords field
