In times of global change it’s nearly impossible to hear places without human sounds. The majestic and old rainforests on the tropical south pacific islands creates an amazing soundscape. We recorded these soundscapes with a variety of organic sounds like exotic birds and animals, light and heavy tropical rain, wind blowing through trees and calm rivers and waterfalls. We also covered day and night moods. Our microphone setup is the amazing immersive Schoeps ORTF3D System powered by the precise preamps of the Sonosax R4+ and AD8+. These Systems allow us to record the incredible soundscapes of the south pacific rainforests in the most iconic way.

Postproduction and Editing

The Post Production and editing process took place in a Dolby Atmos Studio (7.1.4) in Germany, equipped with Genelec Loudspeakers. The binaural version was created with the Dolby Atmos Renderer software. Click HERE for a Binaural exemple.

Stereo is included

The library is available in the original 3D Surround (Hi Layer/ Lo Layer), Stereo and Binaural. The binaural Files were created via Dolby Atmos Renderer fold down. If you purchase the 3D Surround Bundle, it also includes the Stereo sound files. The Binaural Version is only available on its own.

UCS Metadata embedded

We attach great importance to a structured system. So we used the amazing Universal Category System to create an easy workflow of finding the right sound at the right time. Or detailed descriptions and filenames helps you to navigate through the vast amount of sounds. Available with soundminer, soundly, explorer and many other DAW’s and softwares.
