‘Quadcopter Flight’ shows off these buzzing beasts from near and far in both quiet exterior locations and the studio.
Featuring a large quadcopter and two minis, these machines were captured as they performed all possible actions, such as take-offs, flybys, revs, and sustained flight.
The library also has foley, a few crashes, and recordings from contact mics that were attached to the two smaller quads for sounds of high-tech servo/rotor sounds that can be used for sci-fi projects containing robots, sliding doors, and more.

This unique SFX library gets you the close-up engine/rotor sounds of the DJI Phantom 2 multirotor quadcopter. And whether you are working on project that needs the engine sounds of an actual quadcopter drone, or intend to use the recordings as source material for sound design of all kinds of machines – this collection will come in handy:
We recorded static sound perspectives at different speeds, intensities and rotor combinations. The collection includes long recordings at constant speeds, variations on accelerating and decelerating, various maneuvers and random rotor movements.
For even more variety we recorded all of the above with a mix of contact and coil microphones giving you a less realistic, more futuristic sound perspective to the drone’s engine itself, rather than the air movement caused by the rotors. Mix those recordings with the MKH 8040 recordings to create your own blend of engine sounds: be it a drone, spaceship or other types of futuristic vehicles.
TURBINE is a revolutionary sound design plug-in that gives you access to a wide range of authentic virtual engines based on their real-world counterparts. Over the last 4 years of intense research and development we shaped this breakthrough software tool that revolutionizes the way we do sound design. TURBINE is here to blow your mind and to simplify your work in so many ways.
You can change and automate all parameters in real-time, giving you full control over the final result.
This library brings you 840 meta-tagged sounds recorded and created at 96kHz/24-bit stereo that can be used to bring your spaceships to life. This includes 376 designed sounds with various flybys, lift-offs, and landings for large, medium and small spaceships, as well as the 464 ingredient sounds that were used to create them, allowing you to customize and tailor the sounds to fit your project.
Note: The sounds in the audio sample have some panning and reverberation added; the sounds in the library itself are centered and entirely devoid of reverb.

WW2 Aircraft is a collection of recordings of rare World War 2 aircraft. It features icons such as the Supermarine Spitfire, Bucker Bu-131 Jungmann, North American P-51 Mustang, Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, Grumman F8F Bearcat and others. The library consists of 59 recordings ranging from 13 seconds to over 10 minutes in length. The sounds have been recorded with the Sennheiser MKH416, MKH8040 and the Sony PCM D100.
The library covers exterior flybys from slow to very fast, aircraft taxiing by, engines starting up, idling, revving, stopping and a few takeoffs. It also includes an on-board recording of a Bucker Bu-131 biplane as it starts up, taxies, takes off, flies, lands and then stops. The planes have been recorded at a variety of distances, from close to relatively far away. As an added bonus, one of the P-51 Mustangs recorded had had its guns removed, which caused an awesome whistling sound every time it swooped down at a certain angle.
Vehicles: Aviation Sound Effects includes 60 tracks of the majestic vehicles of the air.
Includes field recordings of Sikorsky and Bell helicopters, and 767 and 777 passenger jets. There are seaplanes, and jet fighters.
This sound library includes recordings of the aircraft landing, taking off, and passing. It also features recordings of riding inside jets and seaplanes.
Quadcopter Drone CX10 is a small radio controlled toy with a feisty character that could be described as a robotic version of an angry bee.
This library covers in detail everything you can do with this little neat quadcopter drone. You get sounds of acceleration, deceleration, steady engine fly loops of various speeds, engine revs, fast turns, ground hoppings and takeoffs. In case you need them I also recorded collisions and landings on various surfaces like carpet, metal, rock, plastic etc. Surprisingly these sounds are quite suitable for user interface sounds too.
The steady engine fly loop sounds are really useful when you want to create your own flyby / passby sounds. I can also imagine using this library to add some unique flavour to winged insecty characters in a game or just to richen otherwise bland engine sounds.
The whole library was recorded in 96KHz 24bit quality so these sounds are really flexible if you want to experiment with pitch, stretch and other audio tools.
You get the sounds in two formats: 96 KHz 24 bit and in 44.1 KHz 16 bit, for more convenient ways of utilizing the sounds in games and other media.
Airports From The Archive features recordings made in and around airports in the UK, Europe and the USA.
It comes with 42 files in 24bit / 48kHz, many long atmospheres with and without announcements and including four recordings that have the hard-to-find Solari Departure Board sounds included. All files are Soundminer Metadata embedded.
All in all, you get more than three hours of great, authentic airport sounds in this library.
Over 40 B-Format recordings of the iconic World War 2 fighter aircraft, in flight, on the ground, singly and in groups.
The library also includes some hard-to-find in-cockpit recordings of two landings and a takeoff of a Mk. IX variant, transcoded from the four-channel recording to B-Format and a 5.1 recording of a parade of 24 Spitfires at the celebration of ‘The Hardest Day’ at London’s Biggin Hill aerodrome.
Also included are two long-form recordings of the Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight’s Avro Lancaster Bomber with Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane escort.

The Ambisonic Airplanes Cessna 172 library, is a small library procured from a single short flight. The recordings were made from the rear passenger seat positioned as close as possible to the middle of the aircraft. The front of the Ambisonic microphone faced the cockpit. The flight was recorded in it’s entirety and edited down for easier use.
Types of recordings include idling, flying, flying with windows open, taxiing, taxiing with windows open, engine turning on, engine turning off, plane during takeoff, plane during landing, plane engine test (1700 RPM test) and more.

Information on the Cessna 172 from Wikipedia:The Cessna 172 Skyhawk is an American four-seat, single-engine, high wing, fixed-wing aircraft made by the Cessna Aircraft Company. First flown in 1955, more 172s have been built than any other aircraft.
Measured by its longevity and popularity, the Cessna 172 is the most successful aircraft in history. Cessna delivered the first production model in 1956 and as of 2015, the company and its partners had built more than 44,000. The aircraft remains in production today.
Get the sounds of switches, buttons, knobs and handles – recorded inside an old, retired flight simulator donated to the Danish Technical Museum.
This machine used to make aspiring pilots sweat in their seats, putting them through all sorts of mechanical failures, emergency landings, and just plain flying.
There is basically a switch, button, knob or handle to start every single possible emergency situation a pilot and crew may encounter when flying.
When the sound recording started, some of them were partly broken, and others missing, some did not turn or switch, but most of them were still there and worked beautifully. The variety is surprisingly great, and very different from today's modern switch sounds.
91 tracks, recorded with a Sennheiser 416 onto a Sounddevices 702, all tracks Metadata tagged.

With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
