Motorcycle sound effects and recordings
Motorcycles go fast – especially on the racetrack. Here we have the 300cc, 600cc, 1000cc and Moto 3 Classes recorded on the Hairpin Exit, Straight and Fast Turns, with riders going at it solo and some preferring a bit of group action. They sound fast and powerful, except maybe the Moto 3 class which sounds a little like a small prop plane.
The library includes 90 recordings. All files are Sound Miner metadata embedded, 24Bit/48kHz wav files

The Iron 883 is not the biggest Harley Davidson bike around, but it has that recognizable HD throttle sound – in a different tone that you might lack in your sound collection.
The library contains starts, idling, passbys at different speeds and onboard driving on both gravel and asphalt roads. A bunch of foley tracks, burglar alarm, false starts, on spot revving recordings and more.
The onboard recordings consists of a Shure SM57 on the motor and an Oktava MK012 cardioid pointed at the exhaust pipe. These are conveniently exported together as stereo tracks to ease synchronization and mixing in your daw.
Each clip contains detailed metadata information, with filename, description, microphone, picture and more.
Cars, trucks, motorcycles at different speeds on a rural road in the middle of nowhere during summer.

Flysound goes go-karting!
We recorded a new library of action, with sporty go-karts rigged with 3 Neumann U87s apiece. We raced all around the track, which is located in a huge hangar. We recorded all the key sounds, from idling to high-speed zooming, the sound of petrol chugging, and the idiosyncrasies of the ground hugging one-man mini-monsters. And for sure the squeal of the tyres going around corners is there too – a unique pleasure sound.
The library, comprising 39 files and 2.07 GB from our 14 different takes, is arranged for usage in work of any complexity.
We have a bonus track for the library – the atmosphere of the huge empty hangar where the racing took place. We captured it in quadraphonic sound, using 4 Neumann U87s.
Our Auto Repair (248 HQ – 96kHz/24bit) library includes both tools and general ambiences of auto repair shops as well as home garage sounds. Hit play, close your eyes and you will find yourself amidst cars, toolboxes, revving engines, mechanisms, servo sounds, metal clunks, and car mechanics in action.
In this library, you will find audio samples of wrenches and ratchets being dropped on various surfaces and with various intensities, different kinds of metal clunk and mechanical motions, as well as audio of mechanics operating hydraulic machines and servomotors, handling screwdrivers, welding and hammering chassis, handling screwdrivers/ pneumatic pistols and sawing/scraping metal auto parts. All captured in real garages and auto repair shops.
In addition to the sounds mentioned above, we have included a variety of clean, studio recordings of hand tools and metal parts that can be used as starting points for further sound design. We had cars and bikes brought in, which we used to record a series of engine startups/shutdowns, idling, and revs which might serve as starters for creating multilayered, compelling atmospheres.

Our Audio Craftsmen carefully planned and executed a recording session, capturing the essence of the motorbike with both a mono supercardiod mic and a stereo perspective mic for ultimate flexibility (these are provided as separate files). The resulting sound is full frequency, rich and textural, giving the impression of you being right there with the rider. All sounds are provided in 96kHz 24Bit and are perfect for complex vehicle design, being captured in the natural environment of the dirt track. As well as close up sounds, we also recorded some distant drive aways and approaches.
The library also includes sounds of a rider getting on the bike, putting on his helmet, moving the kickstand, pulling the vehicle, starting the engine, turning off the engine etc. and riding away. We made recordings with the rider following our instructions but also let him freestyle ride on some recordings to allow for the most natural and immersive sound effects.
All of the sounds were captured using a RODE NTG3 and a Sony PCM D-100, before being carefully edited and ready to be used straight away in your projects. They can be also be used to represent many different types of racing vehicle due to the nature of the engine being pushed to the limit during recording.
