  • The BMW K100 rs Motorcycle library was recorded by placing 2 dpa 4060s on the engine, and two ME4 on the bike itself.

I then used a pair of cm3s to catch drive bys, and a few takes of driving with the boom pointed at the muffler while riding.

It contains wild foley of clicks and gear changes and sound of engine servo before ignition starts.

It is straight forward and has many different varieties so that you will be able to us it for all of your applications. Feel free to inquire about special sounds or takes before you buy here.

  • I took out a MZ TS150 2 stroke Motorcycle and recorded approaches, departures, pass bys, circling in a grass parking lot, engine revs, idoling, etc.

I recorded this library with 2x dpa 4060s, 2x ME2, an sm57, sennheiser 416 and a pair of cm3s recorded in an xy pattern. I set up the cm3s on a mic stand, and followed the action with the 416, with 5 onboard microphones capturing sounds on the bike as well.

In the 179 files, there are 8 syncable takes of pass by's at different rpms with the onboards and 2 different exterior perspectives. Everything has been labeled in Soundly with metadata.

You will find what you need to cover any small 2 stroke engine motorcycle in here. With purchase, I offer you to email me at peterseeba@gmail.com and I will send you the protools session that has the sync'd files and original audio if you would like even more coverage of individual microphones (if that is something you are into). Feel free to email me with any inquiries before purchase.

  • Vehicles Harley Davidson Play Track 103 sounds included, 44 mins total $15

The Harley Davidson sound effects library from G4F SFX features high-quality recordings of the Heritage Softail model. All the files have been meticulously recorded, mixed and meta-tagged for rapid use. We used an Aeta 4minx recorder, a pair of Schoeps ORTF and an AKG C414 to boost the center of the stereo sound. An SM58 placed near the exhaust also allows you to add the characteristic “throaty sound” of the Harley that can be mixed to suit your requirements. Each exhaust is on a separate file and is precisely the same length as the ORTF/C414 file for easy synchronization.

    Features recordings such as:

Aways – False starts – Accelerations – Gear shifts – On-board camera – Handling of the bike – Horn – Stops / Braking

  • Get the sounds of the the Honda VTX 1300 – a distinctive cruiser motorcycle.

Its 1300cc displacement is right in the sweet spot between the zippier 750 models and the massive 1800 road warriors. This particular one was equipped with a set of custom Vance and Hines Big Shots exhaust pipes early in its life, giving it a distinctive and throaty note that can be heard up and down the highway. The VTX line is also known for its distinctive transmission, which gives a meaty ‘clunk’ with every shift.

This library is a set of recordings that were made using a combination of onboard and exterior mics at a variety of useful speeds, as well as free running on the highway. Its a smaller set, but very distinctive and useful.

We recorded multiple channels on every movement:
    • Onboards consisted of Line audio CM3, Crown PZM and Sanken COS11 mics
    • A handheld MKH416 rig covered bys and exteriors

After a half day of recording we had material ranging from idles and slow starts to fast bys and highway runs.

The booming and serrated voice of a 100th anniversary edition American classic is upon you. And this Fat Boy had quite a lot to say. Mostly in a dialect of deliciously loud and explosive transients.

You'll find that this library not only covers glorious engine dynamics and potato-y straight pipes, but also various switches, mechanics, linkages, electrical functions, the horn, and even a guardian bell. There are pass-bys and encircled recordings in both mono and MS formats (the latter of which are left raw for you to decode at gain and width settings appropriate to your needs), static running captures, and a structure of engine throttling that can give you delicate control over the engine's power.
