Medieval bread oven recorded with gusto.
Get ready to take your UI to the next level with this massive dual library of organically recorded sounds and machine generated sounds. This is not your average UI Library. The process for creating this library was simple: record every day sounds that happen organically. That includes pen clicks, paper crinkles, wood blocks, garbage rustling, paper shuffling, elemental material impacts and movements, etc. Then take those sounds and send them through a chain of modules in a modular synthesizer that is patched specifically to mangle, tangle, distort, pitch shift, warp, and rearrange. The result is somewhere between alien and mech, familiar and unfamiliar; a treasure trove of refreshing and unique sounds at your disposal.
You might call it Future UI, Alien UI, Biotech, or Bio-Mech. Whether your project needs material, organic, clean UI sounds or futuristic, sci-fi, biotech UI sounds, this dual library gives you the freedom to pick one or the other or somewhere in between. All sounds were recorded at 192 kHz and with over 540 sounds your options are vast. Keep a clean sonic palate and choose from the Organic sounds. Build something refreshingly out of this world with the Machine sounds. The choice is yours, enjoy Organic vs Machine!
KLAP Sound took a piano and tortured it, dismembered it and finally destroyed it—and recorded the whole process. For the making of this library, they used several tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, knives, and saws, as well as props like dirt, send, gravel, forks and other sharp objects. The results are raw sounds of foley with musical rings, harmonic tails and creepy vibes that are dry yet barely edited for your own enjoyment.
The Treasure & Loot sound effects pack contains 37 high quality sounds of treasure chests and bags of gold, perfect for RPG games, pirate adventures and general looting sounds for video games.
It made sense that whilst doing a Wood based tip run, that we should record the wood before actually taking it to the tip.
Spoiler Alert: The wood was hurt in the making of this sample pack, but we recycled it.
So this is exactly what we did, Wood consists of us:
Snapping
Breaking
Bending
Twisting
Rubbing
Scraping
Creaking
Hitting
Dropping
Knocking
Hammering
Moving various pieces of Wood (Think we covered all the actions lol)
Why?
Well these can be good for any projects from tree branch snaps, to bone breaks to weird eerie horror based sounds. Wood has been edited to allow a drop in ready and Royalty Free sample pack. These Samples can be used in a variety of projects from Sound Designing/Compositions for TV, Film, Documentaries and Video Games. UCS Compliant and Metadata is attached to the samples
Wind Chimes is a collection of meticulously captured wind chimes purposely recorded with a pair of high-end Barcus Berry 4000 (Planar Wave Piano and Harp Pickup System) contact microphones. By using this type of mic instead of traditional ones, the attack, sustain and decay of each tube struck by its clapper are experienced in ways unheard by the naked ear. Every tinkle and plink, every clang and rattle sound a bit more removed from its environment than normal. Harmonics are heard alongside fundamental frequencies. Every recording is unique to its moment in time. Each note is as random as the wind that plays it. These chimes are anything but showroom new. Some are weathered. Some are outwardly neglected. A few sound pretty, others not so much.
The Foley Vault is home to an ever-growing collection of original Foley recordings.
Each library was captured by professional Foley Artists on our in-house Foley Stage using a Sennheiser MKH50 microphone.
These sounds were originally performed for a variety of feature and short film projects. They have now been compiled and released for you to edit and implement into your own film, game and television productions.
Sounds of a tortured, tormented and ultimately destroyed vintage piano.
Utilising tools including sledgehammers, axes, hand saws, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers & mallets, this library features the eerie sounds of distressed wires as well as huge impacts with musical tails.
Multiple microphones were used to capture various perspectives of the destruction including; Jez Riley French C-Series contact stereo pair, Sennheiser 8020 stereo pair, Schoeps CCM4/CCM8 MS and the Sennheiser 416. The Sound Devices 788T was utilised as the recorder.

Impacts, friction, and destruction of large objects on wood, various metals, dirt, leaves, glass, plastic, brick, and concrete! There’s no shortage of destruction and debris in this library with over 350 sounds to choose from.
These files were recorded at a destination of a heaping pile of debris waiting to be hauled to a landfill. Whether you need smashes, thuds, heavy falls, glass breaking, shingles scraping, shovels digging, wood and metal bending and creaking, and hoisting large objects followed by destruction this library has got your back. Combine these files to create the most epic destructions or use them by themselves for direct impacts or friction of materials. Enjoy You Me & Debris!
The sounds were recorded in stereo at 96 kHz 24 bit. The equipment used was a Sony PCM-M10 and the files were processed, edited, and mastered in Reaper.
Half the proceeds for this library are going to EarthPercent: the music industry’s climate foundation. This sound library includes all the royalty-free log chops, log thuds, wood splits, and manual logging sounds you could need. These logs, made from a Douglas Fir in Port Orchard, Washington, were all used as firewood after the recording session so that no resources were wasted.
These logs were recorded with a Rode NTG5 and a Mix-Pre 6 ii in Alec Viera’s backyard. Chris parker chopped these up for us. You’ll be receiving 88 24-bit/96kHz recordings that are all UCS-compliant.

ACOUSTIC GUITAR FOLEY FOR YOUR PROJECTS
The SB111 ACOUSTIC GUITAR FOLEY Sound Effects Library is a collection of handling movements, grabs and sets, string noise, drags, impacts, strumming, fingerpicking, tuning, and the smashing and destroying of an acoustic guitar.
A UNIQUE ACOUSTIC GUITAR FOLEY LIBRARY
We’ve gone above and beyond just capturing the sounds of strumming and picking – we’ve recorded the nuances and details that make acoustic guitars so special. Like the subtle sounds of the guitar strap as it settles against your shoulder, string noise of fingers on the fretboard, the satisfying sound of the guitar being tuned, grabs and set downs, strings being clipped and even a full restringing sequence. Of course we’ve also included the playing of chords and riffs while strumming and fingerpicking – some played in tune and some out of tune. We did not forget to record your pick as it rattles around in the abyss of the guitar’s sound hole – and the satisfying sound of the guitar being smashed and destroyed. All the details you need to bring realism to your project.
This classic vehicle is drawn by two horses and produces mostly clank and rattle of wood and metal. You can also hear some leather creaks and the horses’ hooves and breaths. Occasionally the driver beatboxes some cues – clucking, smacking, monosyllables.
Some of the files contain solely the rattle of the rolling carriage but no horses – these can be used for sound designing any old vehicle on a bumpy road.
This selection of onboard sounds contains a variety of speeds, horse gaits and road surfaces. They have been recorded with the Sennheiser Ambeo VR Mic, and, simultaneously, with two stereo sets. For each recording you get 10 channels:
– ambiX B-format (4 channels)
– Stereo XY (Audio-Technica BP4025)
– Wide Stereo (DPA 4060) captured at the carriage’s chassis
– Stereo Mix of all of the above
The ambiX B-format files are ready to be encoded into all spatial sound setups: like 5.1, 7.1, 4.0, VR 360 degree experience, and more.
The library is UCS compliant.

A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
