Sonic Transmission is a unique collection of 257 sounds recorded and produced with high-quality equipment at 24 bit /96 Khz. Recorded in a 0 acoustic fields with a large range of piezo, contact, suction and hydrophone microphones, this sound library offer original audio textures ready to use or to design.
Plenty of material has been recorded over many months to provide a wide range of variety, such as:-Metal: small to big, hollow to thin, resonating, heavy, soft
-Plastic: hit, impact, scrape, squeak
-Glass: brillant to low and deep, saturated, bouncing
-Water: oxygen, bubbles and movements into resonant containers
-Wood: low and long creaks, hit and movements
-Servo motors: clean, low, accidented, revs
-Spring: creaky and tonal
-String: cello and bass
-And much more
This collection comes in two section:
-Raw material: construction kit to create and design your own effects. Most of the sounds comes with many variations.
-Designed: ready to use sound effects, tonal, scifi, bassy, whoosh, saturated, modulated, drone, impacts
Recorded and edited in high resolution, these sounds are easy to pitch down and time stretch to create unique and surprising sounds. All Faunethic tracks include metadata tags filled with Soundminer.
Metal Atmosphere is a collection of contact microphone recordings of wire fences vibrating in the wind.
The library consists of 29 recordings ranging from 1 minute to over 10 minutes in length. These have been recorded by taping JrF contact microphones to wire fences and other structures through which sound travels easily.
Most of the sounds are made by the wind “playing” the wires as a huge stringed instrument, while a few others are recordings of submerged wooden fences. The tone is generally dark, even menacing, bringing desolate spaces to mind.
The sounds can be used as backgrounds even if they technically aren’t proper ambiences, as there is a certain degree of similarity between the two channels which creates a fake stereo field. About half of the files also include wind gusts and wind-specific dynamics which renders them easily identifiable as wind sounds, only with extra metal elements added. Additionally there are countless impacts, risers and swells included which can easily be cut out and used as spot effects. All files are recorded and mastered at 24/96 quality which makes them excellent sound design elements ripe for serious processing.
In total, more than 2 hours of metal atmospheres and resonances from unique sources – tagged with comprehensive metadata.
The Character Pack 01: Humanoid contains nearly 5 hours (2338 files) of high quality body (falls, impacts & lands), multiple surface type texture layers, footsteps, armour movements and 4 types of vocalisation sets.
Everything needed to bring a humanoid (Human male, Goblin, Ogre & Skeleton) character to life.
The assets have been designed for use with computer game media that demands high asset variations, however this pack is suited for all forms of audio media.
The included basic construction kit / original recordings enables further details to be created for more granular focus.
All assets have been recorded & produced at 96kHz/24bit.
This pack contains 7 of our humanoid related individual SFX mini packs (Footstep, Body, Armour & 4 vocal sets)
Included in this pack:
Scratches library is a comprehensive library of 700 recordings of scrapes, cuts, scuffs, peelings and rubs. This high-quality collection of versatile sounds will make skin crawl and hairs stand on end.
The idea behind this project was to gather a wide assortment of objects like saws, scissors and chalks, and to record their acoustic interaction with surfaces such as wood, glass, metal, concrete and gravel. We even came to vandalize a few musical instruments (snare drums, oriental percussions, cymbals and more) with hammers and knives in order to capture weird noises and unique musical qualities.
If you want to get an insight into how we created Scratches library, head over to our blog here
The collection consists of 421 unique, high quality sound effects such as: Industrial impacts, metallic stutters, textural whooshes, distorted hits, ear-piercing crashes, unsettling transitions and seamlessly looping dark soundscapes.
All sound effects come with embedded Soundminer’s metadata to allow you to work faster and focus on creativity.

While straying through several antiques shops and flea markets I unveiled a lot of very interesting and organic sounds with character. Sounds that only prop up with plenty years of service can do.
So this library is a versatile and composite collection of all those squeaky, creaky, rusty sounds with a lot of personality.
Here you will find all the little vintage sonic gems.
From mechanical cameras and rusty coffee mills, over-jammed drawers, doors and locks, to sewing machines, typewriters and malfunctioning projectors. You get over 1000+ready to use sounds. All painstakingly edited, cleaned and decently named for you.
All source sounds were recorded with Sonosax SX-R4+ with a Sennheiser MKH8050+MKH30 M/S rig, a Sound Devices MixPre-6 + MKH8060 and a Sony PCM-D100. All sounds come with embedded Metadata.
Rolling Objects, the next step of our Materials & Textures SFX series, is a diverse collection of 270 HQ sounds which covers a wide range of objects rolling on various surfaces.
The possibilities you have with this library are genuinely endless. You can cover anything from vehicle sound design to landslides and giant boulders to more innovative concepts like drone textures and sci-fi mechanical movements.
Some of the most exciting elements included are large metallic pipes rolling on concrete, tree logs and gravel sloping downwards, a Chinese meditation ball slipping from an aluminum rail, a metal barrel moving on various surfaces, various kid toys rolling on wooden surfaces.
I went there, so you don't have to. The nerv wrecking sounds of a fork scraped across a plate, the annoying scratches of fingernails on a coated pot are as well part of this library as many similar and sometimes less unpleasant sounds.
The major part of this library has been recorded in 192kHz with Earthworks QTC 50 microphones. Frequencies up to over 90 kHz are captured with plenty of the noises and allow for decent pitch and bend fun. Plastic, wood, metal, glass, porcelaine, syntetic leather and rubber has been used to perform squeaks, screeches, squeals, creaks, groans and scratches. Each material has been dragged and rubbed against each other in different speed and with varying pressure to make sure to get multiple variations of each sound.
This versatile library is a rich resource and a starting point for creature sound design, iron weapon action, robotic and machine movements and many more. Also great for music production – check the demo. Anything that should make the audience goose bumps or sound old an tortured will profit from “QUEETSH”.
Caution: some sounds might be considered unpleasent / annoying.
This bundle features two powerful metal sound effect packs at a special price:

All sounds were designed, processed and edited at 24-bit / 96kHz, with embedded meta data and accompanying spreadsheet.
This library features recordings created using a “Knas Ekdahl Moisturizer”, a boutique spring reverb effects unit where three reverb springs are exposed, allowing them to be hit, played, and manipulated in real time.
The unit also includes a multi-mode analog filter, and when combined with the playability of the springs, opens up many sound creation options.
The result is a unique sound effect library of massive metallic hits, clangs, scrapes, plucks, bounces, and rattles. The springs were played like a percussion instrument, using a collection of found objects, such as hammers, mallets, allen wrenches, forks, and plastic / metal rods. The springs were also stretched to alter the pitch, and objects were placed on the springs, much like a prepared piano, to alter the sound.
No other effects were applied other than the built-in multimode filter (high pass, low pass, band pass, and resonance) on certain sounds. These include sub-sonic hits, sweeping filtered metallic scrapes, and drones that round out the collection.
The Blacksmith Sound Effects Library features 800 files with over 1000 sounds, recorded at a one-day visit to an old forge from the last millennium. You get tons of hammering metal on an anvil of course but also many other typical forge sounds, as well as more unusual sonic experiences. Mostly metallic sounds – from tools handling, metal hits, drops, clank of chains to vibrating metal poles, rattling cranks, wooden hatches and much more.
All sounds were recorded in MS using a Sennheiser MKH-8050 + Ambient ATE 208 going in a Sound Devices 788T in 192kHz and 24Bit. The sounds are cleaned and edited for direct use. All mastered and decoded to stereo for instant use.
Get 500 sound effects of mainly metal and wood impacts, metal junk hits, crashes, heavy door slams, metal drops, metal wall and oil tank hits in this SFX library.
All sounds were recorded with a RODE NTG-3, a RODE NT-4 and a Beyerdynamic MC950 microphone on a Sound Devices 744T (+ SD MixPre-D). Each sound was heavily edited and cleaned, so there is no noise or other unwanted sounds. The sounds were layered, EQed and compressed for that extra punch – so they can be instantly used to sonically treat your medieval and sci fi battles, fighting and walking robots and anything else that needs some heavy metal treatment.
You can use the sounds right away. No further editing needed. But you can, of course… :)
The Crash & Smash sound effects library contains over 1110 sounds of destruction. For this collection I went on a rampage at several junk yards around my hometown, collecting a vast amount of crash sound effects. This one is highly focused more on crashing sounds with all the rumble and debris, giving you hundreds of variations of glass smashes, rolling stones and stone hits, wood breaks and impacts and metal crashes.
As usual the sounds come perfectly cleaned and edited so you can instantly place them in your timeline or design new sounds with it. Of course they also got some EQ and compression treatment but weren’t further “designed”, so you have nice and flexible source material for your own productions.
All sounds come with embedded Soundminer Metadata sorted in subfolders for:• Glass
Need the sound of objects being pushed, pulled, dragged, moved – or perhaps sliding and scraping over different surfaces? The Drag & Slide SFX library gets you exactly that: More than 500 dragging and sliding sounds that are ready to be used as they are – or for intense sound design.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
