  • Looking for electric car sounds? This library delivers 111 files / 123 minutes of 96k recordings in mono and stereo of the Renault Fluence Dynamique electric vehicle.

The Reanult Fluence was one of the first medium sized electric vehicles in Europe, originally produced in 2012. The car is based on the Renault Megane conventional vehicle.

In these recordings, we have recorded the engine with contact mics, capturing the raw sound of the otherwise very quiet electric engine.

We also have a lot of tire sounds on different surfaces, gravel, asphalt and rumble strips on the highway, as well as passby sounds.

  • This library is a small “utility” collection of sounds great for use as Robot/Machines but also great for UI and Weapon design elements.  Servos, various metal objects and analog synths were recorded as source material to create this library.  The library includes raw servo recordings and meticulously performed or designed robotic/machine-like sounds.

Bonus – Forge Sound Design Tool Sample Map

If you own the Forge Sound Design Toolkit this library also comes with a specially curated sample map.  The sample map can be loaded into the sampler for randomization and the creation of more complex sounds.

  • Electricity Sound Effects Hard Drives Play Track 385 sounds included, 1 mins total $64

The Hard Drives sound effects library features recordings of four hard disk drives (3.5 inch – 5400 & 7200 RPM). All essential hard drive sounds are included (boot up, read/write/copy/delete, power down) that will work great for general computer sounds and ambience.

Each hard drive was opened up, manipulated, and ultimately destroyed to create a collection of raw, abstract and unique sounds. Found materials such as metal, cardboard, plastic, and tools were used to control the hard drive's motor, platter, and head actuator. These sounds work especially well for creating the sounds of mechanical robot movements, electric motors, and futuristic machinery.

  • The Optical Drives sound effects library features recordings of computer optical disc drives (two internal desktop CD/DVD-R and one internal laptop slim CD/DVD-R slot-load).

Two induction coil pickups were used to record the electromagnetic fields emitted by the drives, capturing a very unique set of sounds and textures. These range from sharp percussive bleeps, glitchy static and noise, to electromechanical motor sounds, and drones. You'll find use for many applications, including UI interface design, transitions, sci-fi, robot/servo sounds, technology, and computer sound effects.

Recordings include all functions of the DVD drives, e.g. disc loading, reading, writing/burning, spin up/down, errors, and disc ejecting. Also, each drive was taken apart and manipulated to create additional sounds.

  • Sci-Fi Sound Effects Slinky Pews and Pows Play Track 156+ sounds included, 24 mins total $5

Sounds for you to use for sci fi lasers, thin sheets of ice and electricity popping sounds recorded with a contact microphone and a slinky.

Inspired by thin ice sound recordings and huge pictures of power lines, I recorded a slinky with a contact microphone in order to get some sounds for some thin ice. I ended up with a lot of sci fi lasers and “star trek torpedos.” With some cool bouncing popping electricity stuff, take a listen and pick up a copy to throw in your library when creating sci fi stuff and/or some electricity being sent through power lines!!

Here is a little demo. I think some cool sounds were captured. with the 96k recording you can pitch it quite harshly and get some fine stuff…..the last 2 laser “blasts” have been pitched for you to hear. the first one at 20% of the original speed and the last at 15%. Feel free to send me an email if you want to hear more.

Don't be fooled at the size of 350mb and 24 minutes….there is all the sounds you could want from a slinky in here. :D
