For a long time I have wanted to make my contribution to the EMF sound effects market, with a set of little more unusual EMF sounds.
Listening to, and recording electrical signals of lift servos, AC adaptors switching on and off, electrical toothbrushes, weird analog devices, tv sets and much more is basically what this library of sounds is made from.
The end result is 103 mono and stereo tracks of appliances turning on and off, running, and maneuvering the Electrousi microphones around in a most often improvised and I dont know what Im doing kind of way.
Electromagnetic sensors recording in stereo a range of soundfields from static, shimmering electric fields to pulsing, bass-heavy drones, and extreme ultrasonic incandescents, fully UCS metatagged and filenamed.
VINYL LOOPS AND VINYL FOLEY FOR YOUR PROJECTS
The SB110 VINYL Sound Effects Library is a collection of end of record vinyl loops, vinyl pops and clicks, record needle ups and downs, buttons from a modern record player and traditional console record player, record scratches and vinyl/record foley and movement perfect for any scene in need of practical record effects.
A UNIQUE VINYL RECORD LIBRARY
We started this library with a number of end of record loops perfect for adding authentic vinyl sounds to your music production or sound design, but didn’t stop there. We also recorded DJ-style record scratches, single record scratches perfect for comedic moments and a bunch of foley and handling movement — including crate digging, removing records from sleeves, sorting stacks of records, dropping records on the ground, placing records on a record player and more — perfect sounds to beef up any scene involving records. Also included are recordings of a modern turntable motor at 33 1/3 and 45 RPMs, as well as counterweight adjustment and button pushes on both a modern record player and traditional console record player. We hope you enjoy this unique library as much as we enjoyed creating it.

In Hydroelectric Power, witness the power of water in this collection of recordings captured at historic hydropower plants and massive concrete dams in the United States.
In the American West, water scarcity and allocation are hot topic issues. Gain access inside a working powerhouse along the Boise River as one of three generators, producing over 1,000–kilowatts of power, crank up from a cold start in advance of the irrigation season. Get hit in the face with spray from Shoshone Falls, a waterfall taller than Niagara Falls, during a high water event. Stand 100 yards downstream from the massive Bonneville Lock and Dam along the Columbia River in Oregon as 3,487 Kgal/sec rush past, generating 624 megawatts of power. Listen to the thunderous sound of Gorge Dam along the Cuyahoga River. Yes, the river that caught fire. This decommissioned 60-foot tall, 400-foot-wide dam has sat idle for over 50 years.
These recordings, captured in pristine 24-bit/96 kHz quality by field recordist Richard Alan Hannon, will complement your documentary, film and game design needs until, unfortunately, the rivers run dry. Seamless loops have been meticulously crafted from sounds that allow for it. Providing more opportunities to utilize these sounds in your projects.
A general sound effects collection that includes SIX of our first category-focused micro library releases, plus HUNDREDS of additional files, priced at a substantial discount compared to buying collections separately. 1100+ separate WAV files recorded at 24bit, 96kHz or 48kHz.

Electro Magnetic 01 is part of the Sound Themes Series by Systematic Sound. This is a special one. I basically recorded sounds, that can’t be heard by humans. Beneath the world of human hearing there are other hidden sonic words. Let’s explore the world of electro-magnetic fields, where radio frequencies are buzzing and swirling through the air. You will hear electrical hums droning, aggressive digital buzzing, erratic RF-hits, clicks, glitches & interferences. The sounds of data transmissions and the sounds of electro-magnetic engines oscillating and fluctuating in a strange way. These sounds have been captured with a device for electromagnetic listening. They are perfectly suited to kick start your creativity and enhance your sonic palette. These abstract sounds build make great production elements for your creative Sound Design work.
The idea behind the SOUND THEMES SERIES is to record and portrait sound related to a certain theme, subject or object of interest. The goals is to create exciting and unique sounds and make them available to other creatives to help them make they’re production extraordinary, emotional and cinematic. I’m always on the hunt for unique, evocative and intriguing sound to add to this Library.
Feedback Loops brings you a versatile pack full of different loops. In this pack you will find a plethora of analogue and digital sounds. By routing the output to the input of an analogue synth, our Audio Craftsmen were able to design a huge range of volatile feedback loops that continuously evolve over time. Digital synths were also used to create more complex sounds. They can be used for scenes involving live equipment and electricity. Their unique character allows for more complex sound design.
Our Audio Craftsmen have developed 3 different categories to be used individually, or as a basis for further sonic manipulation.
Sounds have been separated into the following categories:
Analogue: These feedback loops were created using an analogue synth to create more natural sounds.
Digital: These loops sound more harsh in comparison to the analogue sounds, and therefore are more complex
Simple: These loops don’t have any recorded manipulation so they can be used a low hums.
All sounds were recorded in 24Bit 96kHz, and have been tagged with extensive UCS metadata for ease of use.
CLICKS, SWIPES, SCROLLS, NOTIFICATIONS, APPROVALS, DENIALS, WARNINGS, MESSAGES, PICK-UP ITEMS, COINS, TRINKETS, and OBJECT SOUNDS are all in this concise set of 300 interface sound files! Each and every CHIME, DING, PLUCK, POP, TUNE, HIT, ALARM, BLEEP, ZAP, SPLASH, THUMP, WHOOSH, ALERT and much much more has been carefully constructed with a distinct feel using GLASS, WOOD, and ELECTRICITY themed sounds, covering all shapes, sizes and paces you’ll ever need for specific elemental UI sounds!

Continuing the popular Videogame Foley Essentials series (Vol. I, Vol. II, Vol.III), Vol. IV offers an additional 1325 individual sound effects all mixed at the same volume level, carefully cleaned of any unnecessary background noise and artifacts. These sounds are ready to be integrated into any audio middleware solution, such as Wwise or FMOD. Recorded with videogame development in mind, all sounds are short, snappy one-shots with dozens of iterations, making them ideal for layering, stretching and bending to achieve surprising results. The goal is to streamline the workflow for editors and sound designers by providing ready-to-use sound batches for their middleware projects, avoiding auditory repetition and fatigue for gamers while keeping them fully immersed in their upcoming adventures.

With A Sound Effect, Asbjoern has created a web site where our international community can browse, learn, and share the vast fruits of our labors. Together we are accelerating the very real potential power of sound design as a recognized art form.
A Sound Effect is an excellent resource for us to keep our animated films sounding unique and exciting.
A Sound Effect is a great asset to have discovered.
We found the site very easy to navigate, purchasing and downloads were effortless and the effects themselves are awesome! Asbjoern has done us all a great service.
We’ll definitely be back!
There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!
A Sound Effect is a wonderful resource for indie sound effects libraries. On top of that, it has some of the finest sound design, film and game audio interviews!
I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
