    We came across some Local Construction/Repair work being done, to which we were able to capture the general sound of construction work being done

    You can hear heavy machinery, engines powering up and powering down whilst remaining constant and Idle, as well as various bang and knocks from completing the construction. We also managed to record the sound of a truck reversing, Workers shouting and a Saw and Drill being used.

    These samples were recorded using the H4N Pro and the NTG4 from several of the finest bridges that the North West has to offer, capturing several different points of the M6 and M61 during the day and yes at stupid o’clock at night as well

    The sample pack contains a massive range of Car’s, Van’s, Lorry’s and Motorbike bypass sounds, each vehicle with its own unique distinctive sound going at high pace on a UK Motorway.

    We were able to capture cars crossing lanes, driving over cat eyes, carrying heavy loads and traffic that was both on coming and departing.

    One of our more important library was the original SSL23 Far City Ambiences. It was a step forward in the way we record our libraries. We got new gear because for us, it was really important to get the best quality in our projects.     This year, we have just recorded the second part of the collection: FAR CITY AMBIENCES VOL.2

Lastly you will find some transportation sounds capturing the vibe of a Spanish metro and train station, as well as interior recordings of a metro and train ride.

    Sri Lanka Ambiances II was recorded in 2017 on the same trip that resulted in Sri Lanka Ambiances 1. This collection takes us inland, to the mountain town of Ella, and the larger city of Kandy.

    Ella has some distinctive sounds; not least the train snaking it’s way slowly through the mountains, it’s whistle reverberating between them. I also recorded distant distant loudspeaker “chants” or recitals, which, as far as I could gather, was a part of the Poya-days – a Sri Lankan full moon holiday.

    Another personal highlight is the recording of an office clerk working an old-school mechanical typewriter behind the blinds of a small office in Kandy.

    All in all, here are plenty of general Sri Lankan ambiances featuring traffic, barking dogs, tweeting birds and buzzing insects, as well as bits and pieces of walla.
