  • Geese‘ contains a massive array of wild bird sound effects recorded from various canals, rivers, reservoirs and lakes. We are the first in the world to release a nature library with a specific, extensive collection of Goose sounds, which includes flapping wings, fighting, footsteps, paddling, swimming and jumping into water, eating various types of foods, a wide array of vocalisations including groups(gaggles), pairs, individuals and much, much more.

Our Audio Craftsmen meticulously planned our field recording sessions considering time of day, weather conditions and different locations aiming to capture the full range of behaviour these animals display on a daily basis. We visited a variety of spots and spent time learning the behaviours of Geese, allowing us to capture their reactions as both individuals and groups of varying size. We recorded sounds during a variety of scenarios including eating food, fighting each other, and encountering ducks/other water birds. The huge difference in personalities between these birds allowed us to capture distinct vocalisations made while being fed, acting calm, aggressive or being threatened by rivals to their territory (even making sounds that could be mistaken for a dog, chicken or dinosaur!).

We also recorded sounds from different perspectives which include tunnels (both inside and from a far), a gaggle of Geese approaching from a distance, fighting, flying and swimming by as well as close up sounds of eating, pecking and more.

Moreover, all the sounds provided are dry in 192kHz 24Bit. Allowing for uses varying from nature documentaries through to excellent source sounds for creature and vocal design.

  • COYOTES 1 – DESCRIPTION:
    • In High Desert Ambiences 4: Coyotes, I revisit the place where my field recording journey started: West Texas. On my drive out, a massive wildfire was burning large parts of the Davis Mountains. The day I arrived firefighters were finally able to contain the blaze, but sadly not before 22,000 acres burned. Much of the wildlife is too slow to escape, but luckily one pack of coyotes was fast enough to climb over a ridge. Normally I hear coyotes out in the plains where they love hunting jackrabbits. That night, however, I was recording from the edge of the dead fire. I was stunned to hear howling deep in the valley! The pack had run into the mountains to escape the blaze.
    • In this library, hear the angst-ridden vocals of coyotes running to escape a wildfire. Hear the howls and yips of an extremely close pack bouncing from high valley walls. Hear an echo chamber filled with the haunting howls of coyotes who has just had their home burned.

2% FOR THE ENVIRONMENT & CARBON NEUTRAL:
    • Two percent of the price of this library is donated to an environmental cause, as an “artist royalty” for the planet!

A comprehensive anthology of Guinea pigs’ vocalisations and other characteristic sound effects. Single pigs: male, female, little ones, duets, trios and in groups of up to 9. Full spectrum of emotions from lively chatter to aggressive fast teeth clicking (yes, they click teeth!) and synchronous hysterical whining and scared ear-piercing squeals. Recorded simultaneously in EXTREME CLOSE UP with Nevaton and Sanken CO-100K microphones for full coverage from deep bass to rich ultrasonic content (and a mix of these two microphones is also provided for your convenience), as well as general CLOSE UP with Nevaton for more natural perspective. Guinea pigs are very social and vocal, but the sounds they make are so unexpected and weird, that they can greatly work not only for rodents, but for extraterrestrials or robots. Lots of ultrasonic content makes a perfect basis for speed and pitch manipulations. 10% of the library’s revenue goes to nature preserves and wild animal shelters.

  • Collection of calls from the bird-of-prey, the Red Kite

  • Bird Sound Effects Residential Forest I + II Play Track 85 sounds included, 538 mins total $55

Garden and nature in April and August. Fresh spring air with birds’ concert in the morning, crickets and summer ambiences, echoey chatter from the neighborhood, gardening, dogs barking, roosters calling, jets and prop passing, as well as the dead silence and eerie animals in the deep of the night; the awakening of nature and residents during the early morning hours and much more.

‘Residential Forest I + II’ are the two libraries of long term recordings in a German allotment environment in one. The area is a remote place surrounded by a forest with cottages, ponds and lots of nature sounds. The library is a conflation of suburban, residential and forest ambiences.

‘Residential Forest I + II’ contains 85 unique ambiences, recorded in Germany during summer, August 2021 and spring, in April 2022 from. Out of 40 hours of ambiences I edited the best parts and collected them to a 9 GB time travel in sound, from afternoon to evening, through the night, morning and mid day hours in a residential forest area.

For recording as well the dead silence during the night I chose an extreme low noise matched pair of Rode NT 1A and the Tascam HD-P1.

The whole length of the library is about 9 hours, most of the ambiences are between 5 – 10 minutes, some are longer, a few are shorter.

‘Residential Forest II’ is recorded in AB Stereophony, 48 kHz, 24 bit.

  • Australian Lakes: Active Nature is a collection of recordings made around Lake Nuga Nuga, in the remote Central Highlands Region of Queensland. Recorded over several days after having recently rained, the area was alive with active vibrant birdlife and insects. These recordings are phase aligned so can be used in LCR if desired, however are provided as a seperate mono and stereo file. Ranging from pre-dawn to evening, all recordings are meticulously mastered with sound designers and FX editors in mind, including extensive UCS metadata and species identified where possible. A separate folder includes several individual bird calls, some removed and mastered from the longer recordings, and some as standalone where a longer atmosphere wasn’t desirable. Identified bird species include:

The sounds were partly recorded with animals trained for media production, partly recorded in zoos and wildlife centers. The asset list includes but is not limited to: amur leopards, bottlenose dolphins, californian sealions, pacific walruses, red ruffed lemurs, owls, parrots, dwarf little fruit bats, hamsters, guinea pigs and many more.

The content has been recorded at 192KHz with a Sanken CO100K plus a Sennheiser 8050 for center image and a couple of Sennheiser MKH8040 for stereo image.
A special section of the library features samples recorded at 384KHz. For these sounds an additional microphone was employed, specifically the CMPA by Avisoft-Bioacoustics which records up to 200 KHz. This microphone was actually used to record most of the library but the 384KHz format was preserved only where energy was found beyond 96KHz not to occupy unnecessary disk space.
All files are delivered as stereo bounce of these for mics, though in some instances an additional couple of CO100K was added to the sides.
The resulting ultrasonic spectrum is rich and allows for truly extreme manipulation of the content.

Bonus: Two extra libraries included for free:
This library also includes two additional releases from Mattia Cellotto - for free: Crunch Mode delivers 230 crunchy sounds made with a variety of vegetables, fresh bread, pizza crust and a selection of frozen goods. The Borax Experiment gets you 158 squishy, gory, slimy and gooey sounds.
