“Slush and Wet Streets” is a library that contains 34 tracks (92 minutes total) that are recorded in winter urban environments. You will hear sounds of passing cars and people on slush, wet or snow-covered streets.
Atmospheres are recorded at different times of the day and night and at various locations. There are ambiences in the collection that track urban traffic at varying intensities, from an almost empty street with 1 or 2 pass by cars to busy traffic on a wet boulevard. Also, microphones are placed in different positions, from 2m to 30m from moving cars.
You will encounter sounds of people who walk in slush and snow, voices and other sounds typical of the winter urban environment. The library was recorded in Sofia, Bulgaria. All files are meta-tagged in Soundminer.
Gear used: Neumann KM184st, Rode NT4, Edirol R4pro.
Enjoy the winter streets.

This library was made for the small stuff. I have always had a hard time finding small fire sounds. I work mostly in games, and trying to find a small fireplace sound, or torches on the wall in a castle, or perhaps a candle or oil lamp sound, are impossible to find in commercial libraries! I've always been unhappy with what I had to make for those elements. So, I went to work getting small and delicate fire sounds.
It took multiple field recording trips using a variety of different materials to find the best small fire sounds. Finally, after a lot of hard work (and smoke to the lungs), here is the Small Fire SFX Library!
Meet this small amphibious hovercraft, which is beloved by locals in a archipelago. It has one engine to make it hoover and one to make it go forward.
The recordings consist of a 7 minute 41 second session from six onboard channels near the main exhaust, main engine, two front engine, hull front, and the propeller. The library also contains several startups, idle, stops, revving at constant RPMs standing still, and lots of driving at different speeds on both water and land. These are the sounds of pure fun!
Here is a simple sound library that can prove to be useful.
These are close perspective recordings of small click button of the real world (or some would say “analog” in differentiation from the digital world)
Only small machines button, switch, press,… see file list for details.
These sounds are well edited and ready to be used.

This library is all about the small insignificant sounds that occur everyday in any small office along with some very special sounds made from those items. All sounds are recorded cleanly with many variations to choose from and named meticulously. They´ve also been noise treated and edited carefully to make the use a seamless experience.
Since a lot of the sounds very recorded very closely, they open up new possibilities to sound designer. Some of the sounds could easily be used for weapon or impact and other kinds of sound design.
Some of the categories used in this library are: paperclips, hole punchers, staplers, fax-machine, printers, shredders, lots and lots of paper variations, drawers, file cabinets, ringbinders, post-its, books, keyboards and more.
The Smart Fortwo is a unique everyday car. Under the hood, or rather under the trunk (it’s a rear mounted engine) this hatchback sports a tiny 41hp diesel engine. Normally covered for obvious reasons, we opened it up to expose the engine and get some super clean onboard recordings from inside the car.
Also, because the Fortwo has a quasi-manual transmission, we were able to perform the gear changes with dramatic sequences in mind. So they are more pronounced, adding some character that is sometimes lost in a fully automatic transmission.
Included are a full set of exterior and onboard (engine/tailpipe) recordings at varying speeds as well as all the doors and a couple dashboard chimes.
smart:comp is the latest addition to the product line of A.I. powered plug-ins by sonible. This unique spectro-dynamic compressor finds the parameters for well-balanced compression results in just a few seconds. Through frequency-selective processing, smart:comp also ensures unparalleled transparency. With this multidimensional approach, compression has evolved to the next level.
smart:comp is the synergy of intelligently enhanced time-domain compression and trailblazing spectral compression. Behind the user-friendly and intuitive interface of this new plug-in, runs the smart:engine – an A.I.-based, content-aware system designed on the basis of psychoacoustic principles as well as extensive hands-on mixing experience.
The time-domain compressor recommends the most appropriate settings for threshold, ratio, attack and release with a single click, as the spectral compression dynamically keeps an eye on the tonal balance of the input signal.
The interrelated nature of compression parameters can make the crucial task of compression time-consuming and tedious. smart:comp significantly speeds up this process and delivers results with greater precision than ever, making it a valuable assistant for mixing and mastering professionals and aspiring talents alike.
Getting the best out of a track: content-aware parametrization and tonal balance
When activating the learning mode of smart:comp, the plug-in analyzes the incoming audio signal and sets specific parameters that result in well-balanced compression – all with the familiar look and handling of a single band compressor.
The spectral compression is all about giving a track the best possible definition and maximum transparency. By continuously analyzing the input signal across more than 2000 bands, smart:comp acts like an intelligent, ultra-high-resolution multiband compressor that dynamically smoothes out tonal imbalances. It only applies compression where it is really needed and therefore ensures a consistent tonal and dynamic balance at all times.
Creating space: frequency-dependent sidechain ducking
In order to seamlessly merge signals that compete for attention within the same spectral regions, smart:comp ‘listens’ for potential spectral clashes between the input and the sidechain signals, when operating in sidechain mode. By dynamically ducking affected frequency regions of the input signal, it creates space for the sidechain signal.
Users’ choice – easy to use and fast
smart:comp comes with a lean and intuitive user interface that allows for easy handling of this high-tech tool. Although the plug-in greatly assists in creating a fast workflow when the smart:engine is activated, users retain their control over the final outcome and are able to access and adjust all essential parameters.
Similar to sonible’s smart:EQ 2, the new compressor plug-in smart:comp comes equipped with profiles for different audio sources. These profiles allow smart:comp to optimally adapt its internal processing to the characteristics of the respective input signal.
“As compression is probably the most critical task in the mixing process, the development of smart:comp has been a fascinating challenge. Together with our engineering team, we wanted to take the next step in the evolution of audio compression – and now we can proudly say: We have taken it!”
smart:comp – key features
• Automatic, content-aware compression parametrization
• Spectral compression with sensitivity control
• Attack and release shaper
• Frequency-dependent ducking in sidechain mode
• Smart auto gain
Groundbreaking A.I. technology for transparent mixes

The new adaptive equalizer from sonible continuously analyses audio signals and optimizes them in real-time. smart:EQ live has your back, so you can focus on the things that really count when mixing live.
Hand in hand: Fully controllable AI
smart:EQ live belongs to the latest generation of AI mixing assistants. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, however, sonible provides a sophisticated and powerful EQing tool. The plug-in provides detailed but intuitive controls and allows adjusting the algorithm to the mixing task at hand. Informed by years of hands-on experience, the practice-oriented selection of parameters facilitates a targeted adaptation and control of the smart:engineTM algorithm to your purposes. Bandwidth, responsiveness and the weighting of the autonomous calculated filter curve can be precisely defined. The threshold and the limit line of the smart-band primes the algorithm for the essential signal components. Custom-made profiles add even more flexibility by optimizing the smart algorithm for different source signals. The profiles tell the AI what kind of instrument or voice it deals with. Similar to a preset, the user can edit and save them individually.
All the world’s a stage: from intimate concert to international broadcasting
In addition to helping to mix at concerts, smart:EQ live also brings significant advantages at corporate events and live broadcasting. The software is perfect for complementing other adaptive live technologies: it handles challenges like less-than-ideal microphone positioning or fast back-and-forth switching between different speakers without any artifacts.
On top of that, smart:EQ live can also function like a capable safety net. The adaptive filter banks are very resistant to feedback. They automatically detect and eliminate critical resonances. The smart-band intervenes long before the relevant parameters can be accessed manually by the user.
