  • City Life Pedestrian Streets Play Track 50 sounds included, 127 mins total $45 $20

Pedestrian Streets is a library of 50 ambiences from around 15 different streets, recorded in about 7 cities mostly in Bulgaria.

Most recordings are made in late autumn or winter because bird life is minimized. The task of this library is to capture much of the different dynamics of pedestrian streets: from zero activity to busy streets, basically concentrating on light activity periods.

It’s principally recorded in the morning, and you’ll hear the sounds of single footsteps, light voices, shopping streets, dogs, air conditioners, and more of the sounds of a rising city.

Another basic idea is the minimal presence of cars (as much as possible). There are also atmospheres with greater dynamism, lively streets and various periods of the day.

  • Sounds for this library were recorded in amazing sounding film scoring studio and performed on orchestral set of top-end Kolberg percussion instruments. The intention was to perform organic sound effects resonated by musical instruments and not regular musical samples.

Sounds were generated with a few different rubbers, mallets and a bow. They were performed to be used for abstract sound design elements, as well as emotional big creatures vocalizations. You will find there many growls and moans, which can be used for example as designed whale vocalizations.

Recordings were done on microphones with extended frequency range: Schoeps CMC6XT, Sanken CO-100k and Trance Inducer (which also records up to 50kHz), which makes them ideal source for pitch-shifting.

Please note: Pitch shifted files in the demo are presented only to show potential of those recordings and aren't included in the library. No additional processing was done on all sounds.

  • KLAP Sound took a piano and tortured it, dismembered it and finally destroyed it—and recorded the whole process. For the making of this library, they used several tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, knives, and saws, as well as props like dirt, send, gravel, forks and other sharp objects. The results are raw sounds of foley with musical rings, harmonic tails and creepy vibes that are dry yet barely edited for your own enjoyment.
