  • Water Movements Vol. 3 is a new sound effect library from 344 Audio. This library features numerous aquatic sound effects captured by the legendary MKH50 Super Cardioid Microphone and our Aquarian H2a Hydrophonic microphone. Our audio craftsmen experimented dropping different objects into water, as well as producing sounds by stirring and creating waves in the water.

All files have been meticulously edited and tagged with extensive UCS compliant metadata for ease of use, and come delivered to you at a format of 24bit 192kHz; allowing you to manipulate and design these source recordings in any way you could wish.

  • Hydrophonic Design Vol. 2 is the next in our series of designed water recordings – captured using our dual-mic over and underwater set-up.

These sounds were simultaneously recorded with the Sennheiser MKH50 and Aquarian H2a Hydrophone for maximum sonic detail. They were then carefully designed by our Audio Craftsmen to yield a versatile collection of dopplers, whooshes, passes, tones and movements.

Layer texture onto underwater mission scenes with included explosions and low-end whooshes, or add some weight to spaceships with sci-fi pass-bys and engine tones. Bring colour to your designs with this useful library!

Our Audio Craftsmen have carefully edited each sound for maximum sonic clarity so that you can drop each sound directly into your project timeline and get down to work with minimal fuss.

All sounds are delivered in 24Bit 192kHz format allowing further sonic manipulation and have been meticulously edited and tagged with extensive UCS compliant metadata for ease of use.

  • Hydrophonic Design Vol. 3 is the latest in our series water-themed libraries. This collection is overflowing with exciting sounds designed from source recordings captured with our Aquarian H2a Hydrophonic microphone.

Our audio craftsmen recorded various water underwater sounds, and then designed them using dopplers, comb filters modulators and other processes. The sounds in this collection are perfect for abstract watery soundscapes, as well as textures and layers for sci-fi and horror.

All files have been meticulously edited and tagged with extensive UCS compliant metadata for ease of use, and come delivered to you at a format of 24bit 192kHz; allowing you to further manipulate these sounds as you desire.

  • Where words fail, music gains its power. Now bringing together the soulful intimacy of our premier Felt Piano, LO•KI; the elegant delicacy of our mysterious Concert Harp, HA•PI; and the vintage analogue warmth of our Electric Piano, RO•KI. Use them together to compose unique melodies emerging from these extremely emotional and simple-to-use lyrical instruments. Previously released individually and as a duo, with the new GLOW Bundle, all three are now offered together at a reduced price.

While the LO•KI Felt Piano offers soft hammerfalls and mechanical sounds with multiple microphone positions, the HA•PI Concert Harp is a meticulously recorded set of strings with 5 round robins and variable dynamic tones and range. The latest addition, our Electric Piano RO•KI, lets you switch between the raw DI signal or the warmth of a vintage style amp with 20 velocity layers. All three instruments feature the GLOW knob, which turns their sounds into mysterious, ethereal soundscapes with shimmering tones and enigmatic ambiances. All with a single rotation.

[Note: This product requires a FULL version of Native Instruments’ KONTAKT. The free Kontakt player is not sufficient, as it only runs the instrument in DEMO mode.]

  • In this library you will find recordings made by tracking a herd of wild Roosevelt Elk in the Pacific Northwest and recording them in the fall at the beginning of the “rut” when the males begin competing for attention of the females. Recording this library I quickly found that searching for a single target species to record is quite different than choosing a location and recording whatever happens to be there. New challenges were presented and a great deal of planning went into finding where the herd was likely to be at the time. With a brilliant stroke of luck all that planning paid off on the first attempt!

    Included are 30 sounds of:

    • Bull elk bugling
    • Bull elk sparring and clashing antlers
    • Calves calling

All the recordings were made in the same morning, meaning they can be plugged into the same game with a minimal amount of ambience matching. Note that although I made use of a parabolic mic during the recording, because these are wild animals I kept distance and hid behind a bush, staying out of sight of the elk so as not to disturb them. This introduces some extra “air” or ambience into the recording which I have chosen not to remove in order to preserve the integrity of the sound of the elk and to leave this option for you to decide.

I’ve already done the hard part of finding the elk and recording them for you, now you can focus on the creativity of your project.

  • Welcome to SONUSCORE’s RO•KI – Electric Piano

Where words fail, music gains its power. The Electric Piano brings the analogue warmth of the great 70s to your tracks.

Enrich your compositions with the vintage sounds of meticulously recorded mechanics, multiple microphone positions and 20 velocities or turn them into mysterious, ethereal soundscapes using the Glow slider. With the instruments vast sound melding capabilities you can switch between the raw DI signal or the warmth of a vintage style amp, change attack, release and dynamic range, as well as add mechanical noises and nine finely tuned effect modules.

To get you started we included 15 color presets for you to choose from – directly from our streamlined user interface.

    Available as a DOWNLOAD

  • Rivers, Streams, Brooklets, Creeks and Waterfalls recorded both above- and underwater.

Over the past five years I constantly recorded flowing water at every opportunity. This library includes a fine selection of diverse sounds emitted by running water. From alpine mountain rivers that rush after the snow melt, brooklets jumping over rocks, natural and human-made tunnels, bubbling watersteps in streams, rapids and riverwaves to plattering waterfalls, straight concrete waste water run and groaning and hissing natural brooks.

Some sounds are harsh and almost white noise, others are lovely and relaxing.

I mostly recorded at night, to keep the recordings free of bird, car or plane noise.

A broad spectrum of sounds to choose from for any film, game or audioplay scene, that needs WATRFlow. Bubbling, splattering, roaring, lively, hissing, talking and lapping murmur.

    Mics used: Earthworks QTC50, Neumann KMR81i, Ambient ASF1 & ASF2, Lewit 540s, Ambient Emesser,

    ROBOTICS SOUND DESIGN TOOLKIT
The Industrial Robot sound collection contains many recordings and performances of an ABB industrial robot. Robot sounds like these are perfect for designing pneumatic doors, sci-fi weapons or robots, futuristic engines and vehicles, hydraulics, spaceships and more.

    RECORDINGS OF A REAL ROBOT
Industrial robots perform many different tasks and create, thanks to their flexible movement abilities, a lot of interesting sounds. In order to capture all these sound possibilities, the company we worked with prepared and programmed the robot especially for our recording sessions.

    THE RECORDING PROCESS
The robot’s six axes and a sound-proof room provided us with a perfect recording base. We recorded each of the six axes at three speeds from different perspectives in mono and stereo, giving you a fundamental collection that you can use to design all sorts of robot and servo sounds. You also get more specific sounds resulting from different work performances, leading to pitch-modulated movements such as fast and slow acceleration. In addition to the robot recordings, you will receive various snapping sounds, clicks and tool handlings to round off the sound package.

All in all this library contains 142 files with more than 500 individual sounds.

    Jon Lipman
    Sound Designer, Sony Pictures
“I’m not sure where you found this robot but it’s just amazing for technical, sci-fi and gadget design. I’m normally pitching down household appliances or car doors to achieve these sort of sounds – thank you for going out and recording the actual thing!!”

  • Roomtones Quiet Hotels At Night Vol.2 Play Track 63 sounds included, 238 mins total $42

“Quiet Hotels At Night Vol. 2” is the second part of our most popular library “Quiet Hotels At Night”.  Comprised of the best pieces of several years of recordings. Imagine you are in a game or a security guard who is doing his regular tour. You find yourself in different corridors, rooms, and stairwells, even in the kitchen of a restaurant late at night. Through the recordings, you can experience a wide variety of settings – from riding a hotel elevator to looking around the lobby. The idea of the library is to include a rich variety of room tones and quiet atmospheres very early in the morning, late in the evening, or at night. The atmospheres in hotels of different sizes and stages of construction are quite distinctive because of their different reverberation, density of walls, doors, etc. Most of the library is focused around silence. You can hear photo-cell lighting at times, distant faint voices at others, or just sporadic sounds coming from places such as doors or footsteps from an upper floor. The stairwells are also very interesting as you can hear the sound of moving elevators stopping on another floor or the sound of pure electricity. This library sequel also includes atmospheres from the interior of moving elevators. You will hear the sound of doors closing, traveling, and doors opening. Room tones from a handful number of bathrooms are included as well. This library has been recorded in Eastern Europe and more specifically in Bulgaria which makes the atmospheres even more diverse and intriguing.

All of the files are carefully and thoroughly meta-tagged in UCS.

    Gear used:

Recorders: Sound Devices 833, 664, Sony PCM D100, Zoom H6,

Microphones: Neumann KM184 mP, Usi Pro

    Old House

Old House is a collection of doors, creaky wood floors, cupboards, footsteps, surround roomtones and various actions captured in natural reverb in a 1913 French traditional rural house.
You’ll also find creepy resonant footsteps upstairs (recorded from downstairs), distant doors, antique clocks, wooden stairs or even barn doors and windy roomtones.

This library is the perfect match for any project taking place in places like mansions, castles, old country house, pretty much any reverberant interior with that vintage feel.

The vast majority of the sounds were simultaneously recorded from 3 perspectives :

    • a close LCR setup of Sennheiser MKH 8040 + MKH 8050
    • a mid distant pair of Line Audio CM3 in ORTF
    • a distant AB pair of Lom Usi

This lets you pick the best sonic perspective for each situation. From an up close / full sounding LCR array to a fully reverberated distant pair.

During the 3 day recording session, we also captured impulse responses in many areas of the house, these could come in handy if you want to make other SFX match with our Old House natural reverb, these are delivered in a separate folder, with pre-saved Altiverb presets.

Like all aXLsound collections, this sound library includes detailed, comprehensive, UCS compliant metadata.
We also added markers to some of the longer files so you will quickly identify the most interesting parts.

    Metal Sweeteners – Gun HyperRealism

We recorded tons of different metallic objects like wrenches, cameras, stands, microphones, etc… to create different hits and textures for the Source Material kit, everything was recorded at 192 kHz with the famous Sennheiser MKH 8040/8050 microphones in order to capture all the harmonics up to 50-60 kHz.  Then we layered/edited/pitched, crushed them to create the sounds in the Designed folder.

The “Source” folder contains 91 files and hundreds individual sounds divided into these categories:
    – Hit
    – Scrape
    – Screw
    – Rattle
    – Mech

This library is perfect to spice up “boring” real-life recordings, create a whole new futuristic weapon or just to give that ” Hyper Realistic ” feel to the project you’re working on.

    Scottish Highlands

This ambiences pack is the result of a short field recording trip/road trip I made in October 2019 around the beautiful land/soundscapes of the Scottish Highlands.

I decided to go with a LCR + AB setup, as while testing different options I found it to be very versatile and relatively light and small. All mics were mounted inside the Cinela Albert basket for more convenience, allowing me to capture multichannel ambiences ( virtually 5.0 surround ) with a single thing to set up, and perfectly sheltered from the wind.

I came across rivers, streams, lochs, waterfalls, lochs, harbors, lochs, quiet forests, reindeers slabs and more lochs.

This ” Mini Ambience Pack ” contains 24 sounds /72 files embedded with full and detailed metadata ( Soundminer, Basehead, iXML ).

    Tortured Metal Cabinet

Tortured Metal Cabinet is a collection of disturbing metal scrapes, low groans, cinematic booms, menacing drones, ear piercing squeals, spooky stingers etc… all performed on and with an old storage metal cabinet.

This library is a nice addition to your library if you need to add tension, suspense or weirdness to any project, not restricted to horror.

Various exciters were used to create friction and make the cabinet sing such as glasses of different sizes, large pieces of metal, hangers, spoons, my hands, etc…

The sounds were recorded with a pretty cool and unconventional setup that gave me a lot of flexibility during the mastering process :

    • a LCR setup of Sennheiser MKH 8040 + MKH 8050 (because let’s be honest they sound amazing + extended frequency response)
    • a pair of Lom Usi Pro (different perspective and polar pattern + also nice ultrasonic response)
    • an AKG C 411 PP contact microphone (nice proximity and low/mid response)

For more convenience, I’ve premixed the different mics and sonic perspectives into 26 long ” raw ” files, both in Stereo and 5.1 Surround.

These Source files were mastered in a way (minimal EQ / dynamic processing / ultrasonic denoise on the MKH 8000 mics) that will let you manipulate them extensively and create your own designed sounds with them.

You also get 41 stereo designed files / 300+ individual sounds that are ready to use in your project.

These designed assets have been creatively processed to give you an idea of what type of sounds you can create from the source material, the possibilities are pretty much endless… I’ve paid attention not to over compress the sounds and keep some of the natural dynamics of the raw recordings, because who like overly crushed and loud sounds that blast your ears when browsing through your library ?

In addition to the source and designed folders, you’ll find 16 Radium Presets ready to use in Soundminer Radium sampler, these presets basically let you create an infinite amount of random new sounds different than the ones in the library itself. (thanks to Kai Paquin for the help with the presets)

    Planes -Takeoffs and Landings

This library is quite self explanatory, ” Planes – Takeoffs & Landings ”  is a collection of various commercial jets taking off and landing on a runway.

We recorded as close as possible to the airport fences with a multi microphones setup giving you different sonic perspectives.

The “Source” folder contains 130 files corresponding to 34 different recordings :
    – AB stereo (LOM Usi)
    – Cinela LCR array (Sennheiser MKH8040 ORTF + MKH8050 Center)
    – a shotgun mic following the plane (Neumann KMR81)

The “ Designed” folder contains 46 files / 28 processed sounds such as fast jet fly by or sonic boom.

All the files are 96kHz /24bits and embedded with rich metadata ( Soundminer, Basehead, iXML ) .

    Urban Air

Urban Air is a collection of long duration / ready to use / surround urban backgrounds.

This is aXLsound’s first surround ambience library, it has been recorded across different cities with various microphones setup ( LCR ORTF / QUAD / 5.0 ) and then carefully collected and edited into 5.0 surround tracks.

You’ll find various moods and sonic characteristics including: downtown, suburban, industrial, small towns, quiet, loud and annoying traffic beds, wet city, side streets, parks, wide city squares, diffuse and distant urban elements, clean air tones or dirty gritty city noise …

The duration of the tracks varies between 02m 30s for the shortest and more than 08 minutes with the vast majority lasting around 04-05 minutes, so long scenes shouldn’t be a problem. Also, some sounds include markers highlighting (un)interesting sounds and events.

For more convenience, 2 versions are available for this library :

     –  C / LR / LsRs : the 5.0 sounds are delivered “splitted” in three separate files :  ( 1 mono + 2 stereo files ) , this way you can easily use the stereo files if you don’t need surround.

    – .C / .L / .R / Ls / .Rs : multiple mono files

This ambience pack contains 33 sounds / 99 files embedded with full and detailed metadata ( Soundminer, Basehead, iXML ).
