  • Cars Morris Minor Play Track 93 sounds included, 83 mins total $75

The Morris Minor Traveller 1000 was built between 1956 and 1971. Full of characterful and a charming vehicle it was renowned for its reliability and low maintenance, speed was not a factor in its design. However, thanks to its newly fitted 1098cc engine this series III reaches 0-60 in 31.3 seconds and achieves generous speeds of up to 75mph.

We are offering a range of unique sounds from this iconic British car. The Library features recordings both onboard and external including; engine idling, start-up, turn offs, pass-bys, start, stop and aways, reverses, cornering, all at different speeds on a tarmac surface. We’ve also included some slow/medium takes on a gravel track. Additional foley includes recordings of the doors, switches/levers, horn, parking brake, glove compartment and engine hood from both near and wide perspectives.

Each file has been tagged with detailed Soundminer metadata to speed up work flow and increase organisation.

  • Moscow, Russia in winter and spring time

Streets, covered with melting snow; people, hurrying with their business; street, cleaning from ice; whistling wet traffic; quiet and loud residential neighborhoods; children playing in the snow; windy parks; cold nights and, then, saving spring; water, dropping from the roofs; singing birds and babbling brooks.

How to convey these things without violating their nature?

One of the ways is a stealth binaural recording using miniature microphones DPA 4060. It gave the sense of naturalness and created a presence effect, that you wouldn’t find in any other library about Russia.

    KEY POINTS:

    • An excellent addition to your library for film, TV and multimedia – Moscow in winter and spring time
    • Stealth recording with DPA4060 mics gives the absolute naturalness and allows you to be where you can not operate with a traditional set of microphones
    • Sorted by seasons and location-type categories.
    • All files have extensive metadata included

  • Second episode of our journey to Moscow, Russia, but this time – during summer and autumn

We recorded the most interesting sonic atmospheres, such as wet and dry traffic, streets, singing birds, wind in the endless parks, fountains, construction work, yelling children, rain and thunder, suburban villages, crowds and many more.

To capture this sound palette I made another stealth recording kit, but now, using LDC (large diaphragm condenser) microphones. This has improved the sound quality and made the recordings even more detailed, to continue creating the largest sound library series about Russia.

    KEY POINTS:

    • An excellent addition to your library for film, TV and multimedia – Moscow in summer and fall time
    • Stealth recording with LDC mics gives the absolute naturalness and allows you to be where you can not operate with a traditional set of microphones with large windshields
    • Sorted by seasons, time of day, weather and location-type categories.
    • Recorded with Audio-Technica BP4025 XY and Sennheiser MKH 30/40 MS microphones

  • Designed in Imperial Russia, spread around the world, this is the rifle of Zaitsev and millions of other Soviets and non-Soviets alike, sounding off through the bloodier moments of the 20th century, and sometimes this century too.

Shooting was recorded at the outdoor range, with additional handling foley taken at the studio. The all-angle library includes the recording of distant shots on Sennheiser Ambeo, and on Neumann U87s in quadro formation. Our mic-ing and capturing process has been intricate enough to give you all the sound versatility you'll need for use in a fully dynamic project, and also for the ability for these sounds to pass for not just authentic Mosin fire, but also for a generic bolt-action internal magazine-fed 'old rifle' sound.

Also included are several pre-designed mixed sounds for quick-use without additional mixing needed. Our comprehensive library of this WW1, WW2, and freedom fighting classic weapon stands ready to fire!

  • Motion Texures is a broad library with a narrow purpose: to draw sonic lines and create gently moving sonic textures.

The concept is that consistent sound of friction will translate well to visual design elements that have CG and text movement on screen.

We recorded the friction sounds of dozens of small to medium sized props in constant motion. Major categories include metal, plastic, cloth, wood and skin. Some of the most interesting sounds came from the props that had small cavities such as the spray can lid and the water bottle. The constant changing of the cavity state relative to the mics creates strange vocal sounds.

Once the sounds were recorded we employed a proprietary smoothing process as a second pass to the sounds and provided them in addition to the original textures. These smoothed out sounds still have the organic quality of the original recordings, but with far fewer transient events. The end result are sounds that feel straighter than the more circular sounding original textures.

Inside of the Kontakt instruments we stacked layers and effects to create a broad base of deep and interesting textures. Many of the Kontakt presets mangle the sounds far beyond recognition of the original recordings.

    Motion Textures features

    • 92 unique original samples
    • 92 smoothed samples
    • 25 Kontakt unlocked design .nki files
    • 22 Kontakt unlocked raw texture .nki files
    • .nki files require full version of NI Kontakt 4 or higher

Note: Can be used without Kontakt too!
All Kontakt instrument libraries include fully unlocked and accessible metadata tagged .wav files. You don't need any version of Kontakt to use these files as a standalone sample library.

  • Need the sounds of small motors? The Motors SFX library is packed with recordings of gadgets, which can add some cool and unusual textured motor sounds to your sound design process.

Sounds include antique, vintage and just plain old machines and motors, many of them half broken and busted, small plastic wind up toys, newer motors, tools, calculators, a 198x fax machine, a screaming Powerball, a massage tripod, and toys running, turning, getting stuck, lifting, driving and screwing.
As a very unique set of tracks in this pack, one of the oldest Danish cars was recorded and put in here.

The Hammel car was build back in 1888. It has 2.5 horsepower, and a top speed of 9 kilometers an hour. The startup process is done with matches and a lot of patience. Once this beast starts up, the sound is among one of the most funny and weird sounds ever. The library has a dual perspective recording of this car, and covers the entire startup, going (idling), and shutting down sequence.
