Carefully recorded and designed, Unfathomed brings you rich sonic audio assets to compliment your underwater and ambient textural projects. A wide assortment of performances await, comprised of impacts, raking, scraping, bursts, bubbles, pressure, suction, and many more all enacted underwater in various vessels of different sizes and materials.
There are two types of content in this library: raw hydrophone recordings and designed assets created solely from those recordings. The raw recordings are only lightly and carefully edited, to be mindful of and preserve the ultra- and sub-sonics captured by the hydrophone. This is so that when wielding and rending these assets, you can push them to the extreme and get the widest possible range of results.
Whether you want cacophonous noise, or deep calming drones, Unfathomed is sure to be a boon companion on your submariner adventures.
Beef up your sound design with the ferocity of Gators – from beastly bellows and monstrous growls to aggressive hisses and vicious jaw snaps. This one-of-a-kind, exclusive speciality library delivers stunning alligator sound effects ready to add power and intensity your audio projects.
And “one-of-a-kind” is no exaggeration. There’s a reason you will not find a similar collection dedicated to alligator or crocodile sound effects anywhere else. These sounds can not only be dangerous to record, but they are extremely difficult to capture as alligators are typically very stealthy, quiet creatures… except during mating season.
Luckily, recordist Colin Hart embarked on several excursions to the swamps of Florida to develop a method for cueing the monstrous sounds from these cold-blooded beasts – so you don’t have to. After seven years (plus a mangled blimp, destroyed boom pole, JBL baby stroller, and a couple testing subwoofers from Boeing), these incredible alligator recordings are now available for your own projects.
In addition to bellowing mating calls, warning hisses, terrifying snarls and more alligator sounds, the Gators library also provides partially submerged hydrophone recordings as well as marsh and bird ambiences.
Add this rare secret weapon to your sound design toolset and give life to creatures, monsters, dragons, dinosaurs, crocodiles, and other beasts. The organic immensity of these sounds also make perfect layers for explosions, thunder, fire, engines and more. Gators is also included in Pro Sound Effects’ CORE: Standard.
Haunting Ambiences Vol. 2 is brought to you as the successor to one of our fastest selling Sound Effects Libraries to date, made in collaboration with recordist Georgi Valchev from West Wolf. This sequel contains a complete arsenal of every horror ambience you will need to build film, tv, escape room and video game scenes, from squealing farm animals to haunted ancient tombs. This allows you to fully take control of your sound design, by using plugin effects alongside further elements and processing. Perfect for horror films, escape room/live experiences and video games; all sounds are available in 96kHz, 24bit with the same running length, so that you can easily mix and match the sounds to your liking.
Zombie Specimens Vol. 2 is a diverse collection of zombie growls, groans and vocalisations designed from voices of multiple voice actors. This library is a sequel to one of our most popular libraries, and includes 8 different sets of zombie vocal variations.
Our Audio Craftsmen recorded vocalisations from talented voice actors and creatively designed them to make variations including: breathy groans, deep grunts, groans, tired zombie growls, angry zombie voices and much, much more. Moreover, all of the files are provided in 96kHz 24Bit, tagged with extensive metadata and are UCs compliant for ease of use. Also, all of the sounds are provided without reverb, so that you can drop them straight into your mix and add your own effects. This library is perfect for adding that horrifying undead texture in Film, TV, Game and other horror projects.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
A Sound Effect is a great hub, and is one of the first places I visit to look for sounds by category or genre. I started coming here to see if I could find libraries that I knew I had heard, but forgot WHERE I had heard them.
And in the process discovered libraries I never would have found otherwise. Great work! Keep it up!
We're always looking for new sounds to mangle, so when A Sound Effect had a holiday sale, I tried them out.
The purchase experience is really smooth and quick, and delivery is almost instant.
I'll definitely come back to them again in the future!

I often need very specific types of sounds so I've become a big supporter of independent recorders.
Until now I've always had to go to their individual websites. Now I can find them all in one place.
And, Asbjoern is great to work with!
A Sound Effect is a well curated boutique sound effects shop and a great place to find industry interviews and learning resources.
